RJ Colt Reviews
Everyday all-occasion boot. Break in wasn't too painful. I do NOT recommend getting a bigger size. After breaking them in they now fit like a glove and most of the time I don't even lace them up. They stay stay clean too. I mowed grass in them and it didn't show.
I walked 10 Blocks and felt like I was wearing sneakers,.. Very comfortable, I'm getting another one- different color
Got these to wear for riding my bike. Good grip. Seem to be sturdy enough to last a while. Very comfortable and they look great. I'm extremely picky with my boots, and I like boots to fit snug on my calf, so I do wish the shaft was just a bit narrower, but that's my only complaint. Thinking about picking up the brown pair as well. Would definitely buy again.
This is the first chukka I've owned, but so far I'm happy with it. My only real complaint is that the laces won't stay tied. I find myself tying these shoes a lot more often than my tennis shoes.
I dig the shoes. They look just like the picture. Decently priced and they don't feel cheap. I'm content.
Great shoe! For me, seemed to break in in a couple of hours. I found them to be an 8 out of 10 for all day comfort. Wore them 4 days straight for a seminar last weekend. I like the style; in my casual survey at the OC airport this week, on a 5 hour wait, I never saw another wingtip.
Very good looking shoe. It is not the most comfortable. My left rubs hard on the top of my foot. They are starting to loosen up a bit.
These boots are generally very comfortable. I bought them to use while riding my motorcycle and have turned out to be better than I expected. I ordered a size bigger and think they fit good. I would like if they were a little bit wider but found that after wearing them a while they stretched out some.
This is a great looking shoes and goes well on jeans and khakis. It is very comfortable and I can easily wear it for long hours. I m not sure about the durability of the sole, it is soft anf flexible which makes the shoes comfortable but may be not durable. The suede has a tendency of getting dirty. Overall I think this is an awesome shoe!
I like the shoes more than I thought I would, but it's important that you know the color is not a 'true black' it's more of a two tone. the tops are gray and the tips are black. When you see the shoe in person it really pops out and looks much better in person.
If I hadn't tried the Sperry-Topsider version I would have given this shoe all 5's.
The leather was very tight at first. I first ordered the size 11, which was too big, but I thought the 10.5 was too small until the leather stretched out, and it stretched nicely. The shoes scuff much more than any pair I have owned; after walking about 200ft the toes were already scuffed. But really you only notice if you look at the bottom of the shoe. Overall, great looking shoes.
I have had great times with Zappos in the past but not this time. Boots came scuffed and heavily demo'd. They were however on sale and my girl loved them so I was going to keep - but - looked inside and noticed a missing footbed. Flat tire. I have confidence they will fix the problem but at the moment I was about to end my online boot buys.
Bought these boots for working events for my small business, wanted something dresser than standard shoes but not dress shoes. These are very comfortable with soft cushioned inserts and a mild heel. They have almost a bounce to them as you walk, I was pleasantly surprised. I have stood for 3-4 hour periods of time with no foot pain. I have fallen arches and relatively flat feet and these out of the box were comfortable. The canvas type material is very stiff out of the box so expect a few days wear for it to loosen up. The fit and finish is top notch and they really look sharp. I can tell these will last me a few years easy. If you have even slightly wide feet I would order up 1/2 a size.
Great style for the price. As other reviewers mentioned, they should be sprayed prior to use because they can stain. They's comfortable and stylish.
