After much deliberation, I bought these boots. I've been wearing Rieker shoes for a while now and like the fit and the quality. These boots are no exception. I order a 1/2 size up in Rieker - I'm between a 9 and 9 1/2 and find that the larger size is a better fit for me. The boots are very classy looking and extremely comfortable. I'm still undecided about the red zipper in the back of the boot, but it's not a deal breaker. All in all, a comfortable, good looking boot.
Brands I'd also recommend: Merrell, Dansko

I think these are going to be good. They are comfortable and really cute. just the look and feel I have been hunting for. I have a lot of trouble getting anything to fit right and these seem as if they will work well. Zappos is great and fast shipping! -could do without the red zipper though, but its OK.
Brands I'd also recommend: Clark, Ugg

I just received my boots and I'm in love! I was hesitant to order based on the low price (I typically wear those shoes with the red soles) and was very concerned about the quality. But after watching the Zappos video, I decided to take a chance and order them. The leather is very supple, the boots comfortable. I typically wear a 40.5/US 9/9.5. I ordered the 41. They are a tiny bit big but if worn with heavier socks they should be fine. The best part of these boots for me is the red back zipper. They remind me of my favorite Golden Goose boots but without the price tag. If you're on the fence, give them a try. I am not sorry I did.

I have been searching for leather boots and I think I have found my soulmate! These are super comfortable, even after being in them all day, and are great for even those with higher arches and wider feet. I have had problems with boots either being too narrow or not big enough in the calf. There were absolutely perfect!

I absolutely love these boots! They are very comfortable, although I wish I would have ordered them in a size 6. They are just a tad too big but on the days I have to wear heavy socks they fit perfectly fine. Sometimes I wear a size 6 and other times a size 6½ so it is hard to know what to order. Overall, these boots are great! They are stylish but also practical. I love them!

I wanted to love this boot, from red zipper, to buckles, to snazzy visual textures, to buttery-soft uppers. Overall, they were comfortable and seemed like a nice fit! Sadly, the first seam past the toe box rubbed my pinky toe through my cushioned socks. A few minutes of walking around my bedroom, and my toe was rubbed raw and nearly a blister. If my toe hadn't lined up directly with the seam, they would have been comfortable. Or maybe if the heel was a better match to my slightly narrow heel, it wouldn't have rubbed as much. Oh well. Time to try another pair! Thanks again to Zappos for their great service!

These were the ones. After 7 pairs, these fit so great! I have bad feet and legs, neuropathy with muscle wasting below the calf and compensatingly large muscles in my calves. Also, I am 4'10" so the space between heel & where the calf starts to widen is very short so most boots I can't begin to zip up. These fit great, do not slip up from my narrow heels, have actual support! Also, the insole is removable for use with orthotics. Should I need ankle AFOs before they wear out, the looseness around the ankle/calf will allow for those as well. I love the kick of red in the back as my dressed up look is kinda punky/funky. As other reviews said, they run a bit wide so the medium is great but as I can wear a size 4 girls often times going with a slightly larger size might be advised. I ordered the 5.5-6 size and usually a 6 is huge for me but - your mileage may vary. Perfect!
