Looks great but no cushioning - This boot has great style and looks well-made. Unfortunately, contrary to the description, it has almost no cushioning. I took the insole out and it is very thin and hard. Perhaps you could replace it with a better insole, but that would affect the tightness of the fit. I want cushioning, so I'll have to return it.

This boot is a bit more rigid than some of the other Rieker footwear. It also runs a little large so I can wear a thicker sock. Very stylish and comfortable.

I love this boot. It is comfortable and looks great. I have worn them with skinny jeans to show off the leather detail. I am always asked where I got them. Another plus, they are different from all the plain boots out there.

These are wonderful, dark chocolate brown, soft leather boots. They fit well, heels are snug enough so I only slide a little bit (I have narrow heels), and they should last well. Reikers are often a bit small on me. These are just fine. I'm a true 9.5. A great purchase.

Great boot: comfortable, looks good, goes with most everything. The only negative for me is, I hate it when black soles mark the floor...and these do. Bummer!

I love the feel and look of this boot with one major exception: the rubber sole marks up the floor. Come on, I know there are ways to make non marking soles these days. Do it.

These boots are very comfy, while I have to agree that there is no cushioning, I usually wear those bootie socks over the thin ones to provide more warmth in most of my boots anyway. And if its winter, isn't it better to wear heavy socks anyway? I have a thing for lightweight boots, I can't wear 2 pound clunkers anymore, and these boots are extremely light.

On my fourth pair; so I guess I must like them. Great everyday boot. Walk everywhere with them in total comfort. But had to add extra inner padding to give them more cushion. Walk in them quite a lot so wear them down quickly. A pair seems to last me about a year before the tread on bottom is too worn out (to the point of there even being holes on the bottom!) and feel I need a fresh pair- namely for better traction and to mitigate the risk of water getting inside the boot.

Great winter boot! These boots are great - very comfortable w/a nice padded footbed, nice & warm for the winter. The whole upper is leather which is a little difficult to see in the picture. Three issues with this boot: they feel a little narrow (I got a M width and are a tad snug with socks that aren't thin) they make my feet look big (but, if the shoe fits...!), and they pull my socks down when I walk, so after about 1/2 hour the heel of my sock is under my instep. But, they were cute enough that I decided to keep them - get lots of compliments - and they are a cute, warm, casual boot for the winter!

I am so dissapointed with this boot. I found them and thought this is my dream boot. I love the color and style. I bought them and of course Zappos got them to me super fast. I pulled them out of the box and loved them! They looked great with pants and skirts! They are even cuter in real life than than the picture. They are not so comfortable to walk in which I found surprising. Anyways, I had them for three months and I notice I kept getting rocks in my boots and I could not figure out how that was happening. I finally turned them over to investigate and notice that both heels were worn through. Completely worn through and that is how the rocks had gotten in there. I thought that for the price it was dissapointing. I could not believe that they had already given out. Zappos took them back without a problem and completely refunded my money and now I have to search again for my perfect boot.

Very comfortable from the day one but poor material quality. The outsole left marks on my wood floor and then the heel rubber was worn out in less than 2 months. I was very disappointed because I like this brand and had a pair that has lasted for almost 4 years. I had to return the pair. I would buy Rieker again if they improve the quality of the outsole...only if they prove they can do it.

I bought these boots for my girlfriend for Christmas. She had been looking for comfortable boots similar to proper style western boots, but with a more multi-functional look. These boots are her favorite now. I like how they look on her and we are very happy with the quality and overall value. They are awesome boots!
