This is my first pair of Riekers so I did not know what to expect. These boots look narrow in the pictures but it must be an optical illusion, because they are not actually narrow. I would suggest ordering your true boot size, I sized up and ended up exchanging for a half size down. These are warm! The wool lining is more like a wool shearling that is throughout the shaft. At first I was not sure if I was going to like them, but they are actually really comfortable and surprisingly not too hot. They kind of cradle your foot and ankle. I am sold. I would say these rival my Ariats for comfort. They feel stable and I like the tread on the bottom. The buckle on the side adds some rugged biker-cuteness. I do not feel like these are western at all, but this is coming from someone who wears some kind of cowboy boots daily. It is so difficult to find decent grey boots, I have even tried a few Fryes and returned them all. Zappos' patience with me has been greatly appreciated. The grey on these Hollis is absolutely perfect. The leather is buttery. I love these and will try other Riekers in the future.

Stylish "bikerish" boots in smooth gray leather with cute ankle buckle and good traction for winter. Great with skinny jeans and leggings. Padding on the sole could be better; haven't yet found the optimal insert for comfort/arch support.

Absolutely beautiful boots. The color is very versatile, works with all kinds of greys, browns, blues. Very comfortable - walked 3 miles the first time I wore them with no problems. Pretty true to size, maybe a hair large but not so much that I would size down.
