I wear these boots with pants, skirts and dresses, but they are definitely casual. I have very high arches and I find these boots to be extremely comfortable, I just wore them every single day on a recent trip to Spain, where I walked all day long. I have the two-tone bronze/black version and could not be happier. Buy them.

These boots are very comfortable, and have a great style. I wish I could keep them, but they are just too cheaply made. The back panel is made from a thin, flimsy synthetic material, which is slouchy. If that back panel were made of higher quality material, I would keep them, but it\'s too much money to pay for a boot that looks so cheap.

Just purchased these boots for a trip to London and Paris. I can truly say "these boots are made for walkin." I spent 4 days in London and 7 in Paris and walked non-stop. It felt like I was wearing a tennis shoe.

Great lightweight boot for fall! I own Frye boots, but wanted something lighter and not so hot. These boots are a great option for transitioning toward winter. Love the look with skinny jeans! I have high arches and they fit well. Can't wait to see how they look with a dress and tights! I have owned Rieker shoes before. Rieker's may feel lightweight, but they generally last a very long time and their leather looks new forever. This is a classic Rieker version of a boot. Great for people who love the look, but not the heavy weight of bulkier boots.

Casual boot, not for skinny legs. I really like Reiker shoes. I think that they are usually pretty great looking, and I love that they have removable insoles, because my orthotics are a pain to fit into most shoes. These boots, however, are not for skinny legs. My calves were swimming in these, the material was just flopping around, and where the calf was supposed to be was way lower than where my calf sits. I have tried the "Sarina" ones and those seemed to fit better. Thanks Zappos!

Online these look really well made. It looks like thick distressed leather and when they arrived, it's extremely thin "leather" if it's even that. It looks like it has been painted bronze to give it some shimmer. It's just a bit more glam than I thought they were going to be. I was looking for a more rugged look. Leather boots should last a lifetime and these will definitely fall apart in no time. On the other hand, they are extremely comfortable. I use them for my motorcycle, and you get enough grip and they aren't stiff, so they are good for that.

These boots are wonderful. I bought the multi-colored version. Extremely comfortable and good in nasty weather. I've gotten many compliments and have even worn them with a skirt. When I first put them on, I noticed a little rubbing on my calf, but it either goes away or I stop noticing it. I need good arch support and this has it. They are among my very favorite shoe/boot purchases of all time. I highly recommend them.

My favorite boot! I lived in these boots all winter. They were very comfortable and had a European flare. They were a bit chilly when it got to -20F, but I was ok with that because I don't like my boots to be too hot. Not the best traction on ice.

Comfy Little Boot - A very comfortable yet fashionable walking boot. Looks great with skirts or jeans. Leather is thin, not a cold-weather boot. Zappos has something for everyone!

Comfortable - The quality of the leather looks a little bit cheap to me but this does not affect the look, they still look dressy, they are very comfortable but I needed to use thin socks, which concerns me because in the cold weather I like to keep my feet warm. I tried to use thicker socks but it makes feel the boots very tight, especially on the top of your foot and it make them sore at the end of the day. I would love if this boots come in larger fit on the leg, at least below the knee; these ones are half calf fit.

Great little boot! Put this on right out of the box and wore it all day. There is a small knot in the sole near the big toe, but it vanished after a few minutes of wearing. The leather is thin, but this is not a snow boot. This boot is for fall and spring or a dry winter day. I've had a lot of compliments. I like the soft leather, the comfortable toe box. Looks terrific with tucked in jeans. I have painful feet and as with all Riker shoe, this fit beautifully and felt great immediately. Light, comfortable and fun to run around and either do errands or wear to work. I'm very pleased with this boot.

I read the reviews of these boots before I bought them so I had some insight; however, I found new issues with them that I would like to share. Yes, I do agree these are a smart pair of unique, casual and comfortable walking boots; however, they are overpriced. I have been looking for quite a while for the perfect city boots and was sick of looking so I kept these instead of looking further. I found that wearing them, I have to wear a band-aid on the back of my heels in addition to wearing long socks so the front of the boot does not leave a sore on my leg. Usually I wear boot appropriate socks; however, sometimes when in a jam, I grab anything. This is not an option for me with these boots however as the front part has a small piece of extra leather that rubs on my skin and hurts. I think my legs are too small for the boots and this is why I am having these issues. If you are still wanting to give these a try, wear them inside a lot first and see if you can handle the price and the issues. Good Luck!

Looked better online- I thought these looked fun and cute online, like something I could pair with jeans or skirts, but the second I took them out of the box, I knew they weren't keepers. They look pretty cheap and feel flimsy. Also, once on, I felt like they made my feet look very long and clown-like. Too bad because I was excited about them after seeing them online.

Comfortable and stylish - I like these boots very much. The little metatarsal bump is very soft and I got used to it. The boots feel like comfortable slippers, but are basically supportive enough for normal city walking. And they are snazzy-looking with tights and a skirt and also under pants. My only complaint would be that they are not very warm.

The PERFECT color!! This morning I woke up complaining about how I sure needed some new comfortable shoes, and my husband whips my Christmas present out of his closet! I've only been wearing these this morning, and so far so good, but what I'm completely thrilled about is the color. While they're called "black" they seem ever so slightly very dark brown to me and I just realized that I'm going to be able to wear them as black OR brown boots! Two in one! Thanks, husband! (And Zappos too!) :)

Comfy and practical - I really love these boots. At first when I put my foot in it, the contour felt weird, but that went away the minute I actually started walking in them. They didn't cause any discomfort or pain all day long. Nice looking & sturdy.

Great shoes - I love these boots, they were a great purchase and not too expensive. I got lots of compliments on them. I find frequently flat boots look too masculine or military and these are great!
