There were no reviews on this shoe when I made by purchase so I reviewed on similar Rieker Shoes and decided to go with a 1/2 size smaller based on those reviews. Should have stayed with my true size as now I get to send them back. But I am still excited as they felt very light and airy which is exactly what I need for working outside all day in casual-wear attire!

I ordered these shoes 2 months ago, loved them, wore them a lot, but didn't subject them to water, hiking brambled path, or any other abuse. Very comfortable, good for walking and driving, but now the tops seams are beginning to fall apart. I expect better workmanship from this company, at this price.

Recently ordered this Rieker shoe...loved being able to get it so quickly, but sadly I found it a little too narrow for comfort on my feet and had to return it. Zappos wonderful customer friendly service helped me to quickly make an exchange. Although these shoes didn't work out for me, Zappos is the place to shop. Such sweet, caring service. I felt well taken care of and will certain shop here again and again. They make everything so easy. My daughter got the same shoe and loves it. She then bought four more Rieker's.

I absolutely love the look of this shoe and really hoped it would work out for me. My heel is very narrow. My arch is very high and my foot is very wide across the toes. I wasn't able to get my foot in the shoe easily, and when I did, it was too narrow across my toes and ignited burning pain from a neuroma that hasn't bothered me in a decade or more. I wear custom orthotics and wasn't able to squeeze them in the shoe which would have helped tremendously. As mentioned, it's a really nice looking shoe and I wished it had worked out for me.

This was my first pair of Rieker shoes and perhaps I expected too much comfort. The seam under the ball of my foot and with the thick insole, was still unable to make the ridge of the footbed go unnoticed. Very uncomfortable, I'm sorry to say.

Plenty of toe room, very attractive; design works well for my narrow heels; can use with my shoe inserts for more arch support.

I bought these shoes last fall and I'm wearing them again this fall. They are so comfy. Buying another pair soon! I wear a 7.5 and the 38 fits great.

This shoes are wonderful! I've been wearing a pair for 3 years. Hate to put anything else on my feet. They're beginning to look a bit shabby for going out of the yard, but when I'm home, they're on. Getting another pair finally.

I bought these shoes in October, 2010, right before leaving for two weeks in France. I wore them throughout my vacation and virtually every day since then, and though the leather looks a little worn and the soles are almost gone, I still love them! I bought a second pair in black, also in 2010, and an extra pair in tan once I knew how much I enjoyed them. I'm holding my extra pair in reserve, for the day my original pair looks too worn. These have been great shoes for me, and I still get compliments from strangers on the street. I just hope Rieker continues making this style!
