These boots are great! I have neuropathy in my feet so have to be careful to get shoes and boots that my feet "like" - these are very comfortable, soft, and have just enough heel to make them look really classy. I have another pair of Rieker booties and would highly recommend this brand.

Comfortable, wonderful stable heel but NOT 13 inch circumference. I measured, a little shy of 15 inches on a size 8.5. I need a true 13- however these boots are cute enough and the footbed is so comfortable that I'm going to keep them and get them altered by a cobbler rather than return. Great find. Pretty boot. Love the slightly fuzzy lining, promising for future cold weather.

These are very pretty boots with soft leather and great detailing, but I have to agree with some of the other comments that the footbed isn't cushioned as advertised. I'll definitely have to add some padded insoles, but fortunately I have some room to spare so that they won't be too tight. The shaft is slightly wide on my skinny calves with my jeans tucked in, but not enough to warrant returning them. Therefore, the three stars for overall and comfort.

Rieker shoes are stylish and I wanted to give these boots a try. Good looking, but there's surprisingly little cushioning or arch support for such an expensive shoe. The width at the top is rather large for my calves - returning this pair.

These were very pretty boots with soft, supple leather and great detailing. The shaft wasn’t too wide for someone with average calves and still left room to tuck in your jeans. Unfortunately, as another reviewer wrote, the foot bed wasn’t padded and I too felt like I’d feel every little thing I might step on while walking. I tried putting some of my own padded insoles in the boots but that only made them too tight.
