The Canadian shopped again! Just got back from 13 days in San Francisco and had to write another update on my previous review. Wore these shoes almost every day. Out to Alcatraz and hiked that hill and shopped till I dropped in Union Square and walked from there to Fishermans Wharf several times. No sore feet! That's a first for me while vacationing and got lots of compliments on these cute boots, too. Look good with jeans and skirts. Decided to order another pair when I got home, now they don't have my size. Maybe my last review was too good. I hope they get more. As always Zappos is the best service company ever!

Fantastic boots! I am a Canadian shopper and travel across border to get Zappos products. This is the cutest and most comfortable boot. Looks better than picture and I was dubious after reading one review. Quality of Riekers and just about the most comfortable boot I have ever owned. I was excited to wear them and put them on right away and then we did 4 hours of Xmas shopping. No pain and the leather is so soft. I have wide foot and high instep and always have trouble getting into boot first few times; this was easy as I just loosened the ties and it was easy in and easy off. Sorry that one reviewer was disappointed, but not me! I'm a 38 and the fit and comfort was spot on.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI just received these boots this afternoon and, unlike the previous poster, I am fortunate in having received what appears to be a good pair of the usual, excellent Rieker quality...stitching, details, etc. They do have a chunky boot look but sort of a moccasin feel. They\'re surprisingly easy for me to put on, and the lacing on the side comes in handy as a recently sprained ankle has left one ankle larger than the other. So far, I am extremely pleased with these.

Almost cool. Was searching for a go-to black shoe for winter that doesn't look like a hiking boot. The contrasting tan leather trim, textured sole, eyelet closures, and white stitching were what hooked me in to pay the price. But its looks ain't nothing special: kind of like a glorified moccasin, less structured and more frumpy than I expected. The stitching looks precarious, about to unravel, and despite the side zip, the shoe is hard to get into! I wasn't expecting a sneaker, but there's not enough cushioning and comfort to justify the high price tag. Sent 'em back and ordered the Merrell Cypress in black from another retailer.
