RWE-Evolved - Love these shoes. Light and comfortable. Don’t be confused that these are work shoes (i.e., appropriate for hard labor). Rather, they are appropriate kicks for the weekend or a casual business environment. Complaints about sole durability probably involve high expectations about durability.

Top ratings for Redwing Desert Boot - Zappos shipped very rapidly. The quality of the shoe appears top of the line. I've been wearing the shoes for all types of terrain including rocky, sandy, grass, gravel, and pavement and so far, it's been very comfortable and supportive to ankles and arches. You'll pay a bit more for Zappos products, but then, considering free shipping and the fact that they screen for only quality products, it's worth every penny. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that Zappos has such a huge selection of quality shoes, it was difficult selecting.

Booted - Fabulous weight, looks, and comfort. The soles take a little care to keep clean if you care about that sort of thing. Do every other time you wear them with 409 and they stay fabulous. Since Havana Joe is no longer available (anywhere), these are the new shoes I will wear.

Fine, but not really red wings - These shoes are pretty good, but the liner is fabric, not leather like regular red wings. Also they are made in china, not like regular red wings. They will not wear like real red wings, and seem like knock-offs.

RWE-Evolved needs to further evolve. This is a very nice shoe, light weight, comfortable; but after only wearing them for three weeks I find that the sole is wearing very quickly. They have very little tread which I don't mind because no rocks get stuck in the sole, but I work indoors and cement is wearing them out.

Good looking & comfortable - These shoes look really good with jeans. My husband wanted casual shoes that weren't docksides or sneakers. I bought these for Christmas, and they are already broken in and comfy. Plus you don't see them on everybody...they are a little unique; look kind of like Wallabies, but different. I bought the gray, and they are kind of greenish-gray. I was worried about the white sole, but it is alright. He wants another pair already!

RWE-winner - It took me two months to finally decide to get these. I should have gotten them a long time ago. They felt great right out of the box and very light for a "work" boot. Highly recommended. I got the EE for width and they were just right as I do have a wider than normal foot. Again, highly recommended.

Red Wing Review - Thought the shoe fit well. Very comfortable, durable, and warm. Can't believe how light they are. I mean lighter than my sneakers. Happy Holidays!

Good looking comfortable water resistant work boot, fit true to size. No complaints and Zappos service was speedy as usual.

Small fit - The shoes look well made and I really liked the water-proof feature. The 8.5 EE felt more like a medium which was way too tight. Really like Redwing and will try again.
