Up-and-coming designer Rebecca Minkoff was born in San Diego, CA with a strong passion for fashion and designing. After years of sewing clothing and graduating high school, Rebecca moved to New York to make an imprint in the fashion world as a designer. In 2001, she had her first break in the design industry with an "I love New York" t-shirt that appeared on television and various magazines over the world. Rebecca Minkoff received her first big break she had been hoping for with the overwhelming demand for this small apparel line, but she didn't want to stop there. Rebecca's goal is to become a complete lifestyle brand for the fashion-forward woman.
In 2005, Rebecca had an urge to use her insight and raw talent for handbags. Later that year the Morning After handbag was born and, today, still continues to be a classic must-have handbag with an iconic style for all women and age groups. Rebecca Minkoff handbags are such a hit with both everyday women and celebrities alike because they are extremely versatile in color and comfortable in style. Her handbag styles include everything from hobo, satchel, tote, clutch and mini pouches.
