What a disappointment. The shoes are adorable and were comfortable for my daughter. But, after two wearings, the rubber heel separated from the shoe - on both feet! I returned them, of course, and would never purchase this brand of shoe again.

These shoes are adorable and kid friendly with the velcro closure. However, my daughter wore them four times and the patent coating chipped off in two large chunks from the toe of the shoe. Needless to say, I am returning them.
Brands I'd also recommend: Pediped

I purchased 2 pairs of this Rachel Kids Laurel Black shoes for both daughters, ages 3 and 4. After second day, front of the shoes were badly scuffed off, looking very ugly and cheap. Also, the inner sole left permanent black stains on the brand new white socks. Very unhappy with the shoes and I would never buy another pair of shoes from this brand.

Horrible quality. Instead of scuffing like normal patent leather, the material pealed off the toes of both shoes at the same time. Not kid friendly at all. Returning today.

I should have looked at the existing reviews before purchasing because I had the exact same experience. While the shoes look adorable, and seem to fit quite nicely, the craftsmanship is beyond crappy. It took one ride on her little push car, wherein you always scuff your toes, for my toddler to effectively ruin the shoes. Now, the shoes were very upfront about being made from all man-made materials (and not patent), and I just did not think to look too closely at them as they looked like patent leather, but holy crap, I can now see at least three layers where it was scraped off at the toe. We are on day four of her wearing them and now they are ruined.
