Pure & Simple

I really tried to like this dress for an upcoming vacation but the small was too big (I am about 5'9" and 135) and the xs still draped frumpy looking. If I could have taken the bottom part in more and evened out the length, I would have kept it.

Love this skirt! It is "Pure and Simple," a staple to my wardrobe. I wear it at the office and out on dates in the evening, very versatile. I also came back and bought other colors as well.

Love this skirt! I am 5'7, 158 lbs and the XL fit perfectly. This skirt runs a bit tight, I usually wear a large. It's the perfect length. I've already worn it to work with a sweater top.

Love this dress! I am 5'2, 115 pounds, and it fits perfect. Material is almost like a jersey knit, flows nicely and is extremely comfortable! I only wish it came in more colors.

I have to return this. The description says this skirt is 28 inches, but the two size Medium that I received are 26 inch at maximum length with the waist unfolded. I usually wear size 4 (5'6, slender 118 lb.) and ordered the Medium based on reviews saying it runs small. I couldn't wear at my hips as in the video without serious squeezing and visible panty lines and definition, and when I pulled it up to my higher narrower waist, it was well above my knees (I was hoping for below knee, as in the video, and as shown on Pure and Simple website). If you're looking for something that hugs and defines your backside, or else hits above the knee, this might be good. If you're looking for a modest skirt, as I was, this isn't it, unless you maybe go up two sizes so it can drape gracefully instead of cling.

This is really nice! The fold over waist band is very flattering, and I love that it is nice and long! The only negative comment is that it is a bit on the thin/sheer side. I will definitely wear it with a short black slip. Great for the price!

I bought this skirt with a couple of other Maxi skirts, and this is absolutely my favorite. In all honesty, I loved it so much that I wore it two days in row! Awesome skirt, I would advise ordering a size smaller than you think you are...I liked it so much, that I am ordering a second one. I do that will all of my favorites, just in case something happens to the one I have. I need the backup! Awesome skirt, I dressed it up and I dressed it down over the weekend. Can not say enough about it.

This is a good shade of brown that is why I purchased it - however, it is not a quality skirt for this price. I had to return it.

When I decided I wanted a long, jersey skirt (okay, I saw a woman wearing one the other day and she looked so cute, plus comfy I went looking for one) I was somewhat surprised at the large selection for just a simple black skirt - gathered at the waist. I did notice some seemed "fuller", and since I'm on the petite side I chose one with more of a straight, less fabric approach. This one was the least expensive overall, so after much comparing and zoomed inspection of the photos I decided it was the one. Since I didn't purchase multiple options all I can say is it fits the bill nicely! A nice feeling fabric, could maybe stand to be a bit heavier weight, but I doubt any of the others would have been any thicker, and I really love the fold over waist band, it somehow gives an illusion of hiding my slight tummy bulge since it can sit a little lower on the waist. It was way too long and I plan to wear it only as a skirt, but at 5' what haven't I had to shorten?!

These leggings are okay, not good or great. First of all, they are somewhat see-through, as in you see the tags quite clearly and even nude panties seem dark beneath the white color (some see-through with white is always anticipated; black may not be as see-through). Second, although I absolutely love the ruching detail at the calf, it is more located at the knee. Third, the waist band is actually of a lower rise than the picture implies for fit. Fourth, since there was no size chart available anywhere online for Pure and Simple, I went with my normal size of small for my 26 inch waist and 36 inch hips. They fit okay out of the package. I purchased these with the intention of wearing them for yoga. That won't happen. I'd be needing a longer top to cover the bum area due to see-through low rise. Once I washed them according to instructions, they shrunk up so bad they looked like a pair of leggings for a young girl. Now they will simply be super cute leggings for way longer tops but not so cozy because the low rise is now very very low rise. Bottom line: Order a size up from your norm, beware of the low rise and white color if you don't intend to cover your bum. They're stylish from mid-thigh down.

I love this skirt! I'm 5 foot 7 and 125lbs. I bought a size small and it is perfect. The adjustble waistband allows you to wear the skirt short or long.

I listened to other reviewers and ordered a size up from normal. I'm glad I did.That said, I'm sending this back. The flare at the side seams of this skirt is very pointy and looks a bit odd. I also couldn't find any shirts that looked okay with the roll-down waist band. Too bad, as it's seemed like a comfortable skirt and the aubergine color was quite lovely.

I bought three of these in different colors and returned one because it didn't match the description. For the price it’s probably not worth it. Too thin. Perfect length, very stylish, but summer weight only. Unfortunate since they come in all colors. Duh.

Great skirt - flattering and soft. I can see myself living in this for travel and summertime, both.

This is a very cute skirt. It is comfortable, but it shows all of my imperfections. Alas, it is going back. Unless you truly are a pencil yourself, I would not recommend this skirt.

A great staple. I carry my extra weight in my hips and thighs, and this skirt is very flattering. I am a size 8-10 and would have normally ordered a medium, but based on the reviews I chose a large instead, and it fit perfectly.

A nice, simple skirt, nothing fancy. The fabric is very comfortable, with just enough weight to hang smoothly without feeling heavy. I wore it to my business-casual office and was very comfortable all day.

I agree that the only thing wrong with this skirt is that it does not come in more colors. I got the ink and purple colors. Which are both sophisticated versions of navy and purple.

I wear 10 in jeans/pants and 8 in skirts as skirts are usually more forgiving of my pear shape. Based on other reviews I ordered the large and it's way too small.

This skirt is not quite proportioned right for my frame, but might be great on a woman with a wider waist in relation to her hips. One me the medium gapes at the back waist and the small bunches as it pulls across the hips too tightly. Kept in the small in black because it will wear okay with longer shirts that fall below the hip, but would prefer a white one also that could be worn well with tank tops and other shorter shirts more attractively.
