I really liked these shoes. The tongue is not independent of the rest of the body like most shoes. This allowed the shoes to fit snugly and comfortably. The shoes seem well designed for a fore-foot strike while running. The sole does not naturally curve in a way that encourages a heel strike. There does not appear to be much shock absorption in the heel either. Overall, I would recommend these for road running if you strike with your toes, not your heel. I do not recommend these for any cross training or plyometric workouts.
I'd also recommend: New Balance, ASICS

I have enjoyed the PUMA's very much using them everyday on treadmill for 2 miles. They fit well and were the correct size which is usually the risk ordering and not trying them on.

Great shoe - awesome fit. My husband was having foot pain and this shoe is so comfortable and helps his foot feel better.

If you think they look cool in the picture, you will also think so when they arrive. I had not realized that they slip on, and are not tied in the usual way. I have no idea whether they will loosen up undesirably with long wear, but for now they are snug and comfortable. Their support is firm and comfortable, more like an Audi than a Volvo if that makes sense to you. The toe box is broad and friendly to the toes.

Version #3. These are great for a normal to narrow foot through arch & heel areas. It'll feel nice & snug to your normal size. The Version #4 (for a little more, at this cost it will give you a tab, at the heel to assist getting them on. :) Very athletic, ready fit, no slop, and it'll mold to you! Smack-on in 11.5 man's but very roomy in the Toes at 12. The 12, is more like a 12.5.
