These are true classics - I still have a pair of TX-3's from 1987, in red and silver. I also own a pair of "Anjan" and a pair of "Guillermo Vilas", but the TX-3 are the most comfortable of all my Puma shoes. I recommend them if you are looking for a pair of shoes with true value for the money... durability, great looks and comfort above all.

Great shoe, but ... Lovely style. I bought this shoe for myself and a friend in the green/black/kombu/cherry style and it fits great. But the laces are a bit too short and keep untying by themselves, which makes me have to retie constantly -- my buddy also has the same problem. Also, although the colors appear vibrant in the photograph, the actual shoe appears a bit muted in real life. The suede looks faded, even though the shoe is brand new. The best things about the shoes are the orange accents on the heel and sole. Just for that, it was worth it, but I'd think twice about buying this style in another color because of the pain-in-the-butt laces.

Nice, simple, stylish shoe - This shoe feels roomy for my shoe size. They are extremely light and breathable. You can feel a slight draft on the top of the toes in strong wind. They also have some reflective parts that show up shiny in the dark. I think this shoe is very comfortable for casual wear, don't think it is supportive enough for serious running. I agree with a previous reviewer, the colors do look different online than in real life.

Don't buy them - It looked different than online but the main issue I had was the sole was hard you could barely bend it in half. If you like hard soles like that then this shoe is for you but I like mine to be a little flexible.

Great shoe but not for working out - shoe looks great but it is not appropriate for working out/running. it is comfortable, but doesn't offer ultimate support. But, if you want a fun shoe to wear casually, this shoe is a great choice.

Just a great shoe - Looks great, true to size, and did I say looks great. Ordered the shoes late Tues. afternoon and received the shoes the next day! This is the first time I have used Zappos and will not be my last.

very cool - Just got mine (thanks to Zappos for the next-day delivery!), and I think they're comfy, stylish, and well-made. I wouldn't recommend these if you are a hard-core runner, but for my purposes (casual and clube wear) they're perfect. peace

PUMA TX-3 (Violet/Vibrant Yellow) I saw these shoes and bought them for casual wear and light running. They do both with a lot of style and popularity. People always ask me where I got them and how they feel. I own several pairs of PUMA's and these have to be the most comfortable I have. Zappos shipping was fast and awesome. I recommend this shoe from them highly.

TX-3- great buy- I saw the TX-3 in magazine ads before I saw it on Zappos. The shoe is a very vibrant purple, slate blue and yellow- very eye-catching. It's cushioned and could definitely be used for some light running but it's not a marathon runner or anything. Pumas run small, so I knew to order up a 1/2 size and I'm in luck- they fit great. Try this one out; if you're not scared to rock loud colors, you'll love them.
Brands I'd also recommend: Saucony Originals, Reebok Classics
