The shoes look great, but I had to return them. I bought the shoes to primarily to walk around in them and not for any athletic endeavors, but even for walking the shoes are very narrow and uncomfortable. I felt that I was going to twist my ankle at any moment. The reviews are right, the shoes are not true to size. You should probably size up half a size. I eventually went with the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66s instead. Love them. Also, Zappos Customer support is awesome.

My friend and I bought these shoes at two separate times. We both love indoor soccer and a lot of outdoor field games. These shoes have wonderful traction, especially on wet grass and mud. I felt like I could really take off across the field with these on. Detractor: The grip on the bottom of the shoe gets mud in it easily and needs to be thoroughly cleaned before coming back inside or you'll be leaving sneaker crumbs everywhere. Personal: Mine are starting to degrade after only four months of heavy wear. I have a hole in the fabric about my pinky toe. They are still horribly comfortable.

The Speeder M is a decent shoe. The impact is a little more severe from my old PUMA Cells but other than that, it is much more comfortable and lighter. I got the Steel Grey/Leprechaun and had to pull out the green shoe laces because they looked like clown shoes. But I had the laces from my other PUMAs, so this wasn't a big issue.

PUMA Speeder M - Wicked awesome looking shoe. I love the retro look. I got the Fossil/Spray Green/Spectra Yellow and love it. They are very lightweight and comfortable. The nobs on the bottom do pick things up like other people say, but it has not been a big deal. I definitely stay away from snow, water, mud with these because the bottoms would be impossible to clean, but I didn't buy them to run around in the rain and mud, so they work great for me.

These are comfortable, but when I wore them in the winter, dirty snow would get stuck in the spikes. When I would walk into my house, the snow would melt making puddles of dirty water on my wood floor. Overall, love the shoes, just don't wear them in the snow.

Puma Speeders are a super-lightweight and comfortable summer sneaker; I bought two pairs in different color combos. And repeatedly, Zappos has styles and sizes of Pumas that are sold out or unavailable elsewhere; also their speed of service and delivery is unmatched.

I love the style of these shoes. They are very light and breathe well. My only gripe is that the size is a little too small. I usually wear an 11m, but often err on the side of 10.5m. With these shoes if I purchased them in a store, I would have asked for an 11.5m. I don't run/jog in these yet, but I suspect the fit would aid in eliminating some foot fatigue I have with my old New Balance runners. I usually demote my street/active shoes after a few months to my dedicated runners. Overall, pleased, just wish I knew they would run this small.

I tried the PUMA Speeder M on in a store near where I live. It wasn't the color I wanted, but they were by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. They have just the right give so it feels like you are walking on a cloud. The colors they have available are fantastic - I personally opted for the bright orange/yellow/green color scheme and I get complimented on my new Speeder M's every day by complete strangers. I've owned one other pair of Pumas before and they hands down last longer than any other brand of shoe I've tried. I expect the Speeder M will last a long time too.

I got these shoes for my husband. He likes them a lot and the colors are nice and subtle. As usual, Zappos shipped very quickly--literally in about 12 hours!

What is this? A Puma for someone with a wide foot? No way. It blew me away, too. The materials seem quality, and the retro look is great. The only reason this did not get a 5/5 is the bottom of the shoe. Rocks and other debris get easily stuck in the knobs. But don't let that deter you. It is the bottom of a shoe, it's supposed to get dirty.

I purchased the Puma Speeder M in Spectra Yellow/Flame Orange/Poison Green just before heading off for 8 days in Brussels and Paris and decided to toss them into my bag at the last minute. I and my feet are so glad that I did. They were as comfortable as my regular cross-trainers when walking around all over town. Thanks to the nubby soles, they were much more comfortable when standing in long lines. Plus, I got many compliments on the stylish design and interesting color combination. I plan to order a second pair in a more subdued color scheme.

I bought a pair of these for my boyfriend because I liked the way they looked and he loves them as well. He loves they way they look and feel when he wears them. It was definitely money well spent.

I bought these shoes because my old Pumas wore out. I was headed to Europe and needed a fashionable pair of comfortable and light shoes. These fit the bill! I got lots of compliments on them and they feel nice. Only drawback, the bottoms are little pokeys and attract and carry material like leaves and grass and dirt...

The "dark shadow" grey is much lighter than pictured! The nubby tread shifts and bends when you put your weight on it which gets very irritating! Pebbles get stuck in it constantly as well. The build of the shoe is comfortable aside from the tread.

Take 'em off at the door! Excellent shoes. Fit true to your average Puma. In other words, a bit narrow and about a half to full size smaller than marked. As for the arch support, I can't really judge because I wear orthotics for my high arch. I also have narrow feet so they are a nice snug fit. My only complaint is the soles... the traction on them fills with dirt and for some reason won't come out until you go inside. The first time I wore them in, my jaw dropped when I realized all the dirt I brought in (hardwood floors).

Cute shoe. Felt true to size. I have very narrow feet and they fit me fine, but they looked really, really, really narrow on. The shoe is not very comfortable. I ordered the red shoe with the black stripe. The stripe is shiny and shoe in general would look better on a man.

I really love these shoes. They fit perfectly to my feet. They have a really slick look to them. I bought them just to wear around school; I'm not sure if that’s what they are made for. The bottom of them is my least favorite part since it is really good at picking up small rocks sticks and clumps of dirt and grass, but they have excellent traction.

Sturdy, survived a hike on the Inka Trail - I took these shoes brand new with me to Peru. They walked countless miles through the countryside, up mountains, ruins, and through to Machu Picchu. All throughout, they were extremely comfortable and provided great traction, and at the end, all it took was a brush down to clean them up. Excellent sneakers!

Love 'em - I've been wearing these almost every day. They feel like I'm walking barefoot only with a nice, protective coating. I'm hoping to get them in different colors. I have a long, but narrow foot and they do make my foot look smaller.
