Have only played one full round in these, plus 2 trips to the range, and, so far, so good. These are first and foremost great looking shoes. Secondly, and perhaps more important, they are very comfortable. Lightweight, plenty of cushion, not too stiff. I have very high arches and the footbed is comfy and the arch support is perfect. Even though they are soft and supple feeling right out of the box, they still maintain a perfect level of firm fit and stability. The mixture of rubber nubs and soft-spikes grab well on the course. I'm about a 9 handicap with a driver swing speed up around 115 mph and these felt great even when really stepping on the gas. No slipping and I didn't feel like I was going to come up out of them. That, and the perfect balance of flexibility. Overall, I'm very surprised with these. That said, there was a bit of morning dew the first time I wore them and my feet stayed totally dry but I wouldn't say that I could confidently comment on the water-resistance just yet. Also, comparison side note: I originally bought the Puma 917 Golf Shoes, mostly on looks alone, and I sent them back immediately. They were the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever put on. Seriously. Like wooden shoes. Super, super stiff. The 917's are a complete and total dud. 0 stars. However, the Roma gets 5 stars from me.

These shoes are fantastic! They look and feel great. No break in period required like some of the more traditional looking golf shoes. Good traction and comfort.
