These sneakers are nice to walk in but does not offer much cushion support for my 5 year old. He injured his foot because of that during recess. They run small so had to order up a size & 1/2. Wish I could return them but he used them a few times before he injured his foot.

First, Zappos service was amazing! I ordered these shoes on a Saturday afternoon, Monday was a holiday and my son's birthday was Tuesday. I did not expect to get these until after his birthday, but when I got home Monday night they were on my doorstep! Incredible! Now, on to the shoes. They are very cute and just what my son wanted - red tennis shoes (almost) just like Sonic! I have had to wash them once already and they are holding up well. The shoes are very light and my son thinks they are comfortable too. We did order size 13½ when my son normally wears 12½ or 13. They fit perfectly with just enough room for growth. The Velcro straps are a bit odd as I read in other reviews. They hold well, but they are tearing themselves up because of how the fabric is on the Velcro strap between the two Velcro pieces. It is annoying but I think it will be fine and will last at least until he grows out of them. Nothing else to complain about - great shoes, great service. Thanks Zappos!

Great, lightweight, rain resistant shoe. My 7 1/2 year old son adores them. Sleek, not at all bulky, and easy to wipe clean. Ordered a half size larger than usual and the width is narrow. And the price...sweet!
