These shoes turned out to be a hit for my 5-year-old son. He's already a picky person when it comes to shoes, but these were a success. Like others have said, order 1/2 a size larger than what your child would ordinarily wear. Zappos rocks, as usual!

So far these shoes have held up to the daily wear and tear from my first grade son, who is very hard on shoes. And they are very good looking shoes! I was searching for a long time and went through many shoes to find a one that wasn't too loose. My son complains that velcro shoes feel too loose. He doesn't say that about these. He's able to get them on without any trouble and tighten them to his liking. Saves me lots of time and trouble in the morning!

These are great shoes for active boys. This is the third pair of Pumas we have purchased over the past year and a half. We've always been happy with Puma shoes that they are the first ones we look to when his current ones wear out. These have a Velcro strap across the front and seem to be very comfortable. My son really likes these a lot and so far they are holding up great.

Great shoe for my active 7 year old. It is easy to get on, extremely light weight and looks like a cool "big boy" shoe. It is highly recommended. My son loves it much more than the New Balance shoe he had before this one.

I bought these for my 5 year old nephew's birthday. They seem to be true to size and they are very cute. However, I went to visit just one week later, I noticed that the orange lining on the bottom of the inside was already coming up on both shoes! This is unacceptable for the price of these shoes. He is not exceptionally rough on things either.

Great shoes. My son loves them and seems to think that he's now the fastest person on the planet. Hopefully that makes a shoe designer somewhere happy. These seem to run about a half size small, so order up a half size from your normal.

These look great. They fit great. And best of all they don't have to be tied. My son absolutely loves them and I don't have to wait 10 mins for him to untie and tie his shoes. This is the best looking 'strap' shoe available IMO.

Poor, poor quality. Within a couple weeks of my 6 year old owning this shoe, the stitching started coming apart at the toe. Additionally, it was a poor choice, because the white mesh was filthy in a day. But that was my fault. The quality issue is Puma's fault. On the bright side, my son loved how they looked and thought they made him run faster.

Awesome shoe! My kid loves them! I would buy them again! Also, I originally bought the wrong size, sent them back and Zappos quickly sent me my new order with the correct size! Yea Zappos!
