Propét Village Walker SKU #104712(View on Zappos.com Classic)

I am a big man with a wide foot and have had trouble finding a comfortable shoe that fits well and lasts. I just purchased this shoe and it felt great right out the box. Extra wide was perfect fit and gave me plenty of room, toes not bunched and roomy on both sides of the foot. I had been having trouble at end of long day at office with feet and legs being tired. However, with these shoes I have noticed a big difference and have not experienced those problems any longer. I used to wear New Balance shoes because they are available in 4E and will continue to do so with tennis shoes only. However, I will stick with these shoes for long days at the office because they feel great and look dressy. I liked them so much a bought a second pair to keep as a spare in case they ran out and did not have them available when I needed another pair. I only wish they came in white so I could have a pair to knock around in and wear all the time instead of having to go back to the New Balance. So far the sole has lasted and not shown any wear of wearing down on the outside, which usually happens because of my weight. Would recommend these shoes to anyone and already have done so.

So far seems they seem to be good shoes. Good quality shoes are hard to come by anymore. A major thing is that the bottoms are sewed into the leather. That definitely prolongs the life of shoes. They might even be able to outlast my old Vans I had. My Vans finally gave out because I wore through all the rubber on the bottom. These shoes have heavy duty leather. The only thing I don’t like about them is the huge heel sole thingies on the bottom. The bottoms are thick! It's nearly like an elevator shoe...Well not that bad, but still. Nice casual but proper stylish shoe. Plus Propet seems good about having large and wide sizes. :)

Great right out of the box - These shoes are great if you have wide feet. I ordered a 13D. The shoes are true to length and they have a ton of room up front. Very comfortable right out of the box. The width makes them a little clunky looking but they're fine with khakis. An added bonus was that Zappos upgraded me to 1-day shipping for free. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Great service from Zappos and a wonderful shoe! I'm on my feet all day as a teacher and these shoes are great. They are very light and yet very supportive. These are my third pair of this style.

Good basic shoe - This is a staple shoe for me since I have wide feet and it doesn't have any contouring on the inside hit in the wrong places on my feet (your feet were made to walk barefoot on a flat surface why would I want to stand on something with lumps?). The only complaint I have with them is that the insole's wear out after about a year (wearing them 5+ days/week) and replacement insoles are not available. I'm on my 4th pair so it's not that much of a problem and I'm thinking about buying some leather and cutting my own replacement insoles...

Perfect Walking Shoe - This shoe runs true to size at least according to my foot. It is very comfortable and lasts for a long time if taken care of.

Great working shoe! I spend 5-6 hours a day on my feet. I needed a comfortable shoe for work with well padding around the tongue. This shoe has proven both comfortable and looks great! Will buy this shoe again and again! The price was right too!

The shoe is very comfortable. I have big tender feet and these shoes are great for me. Very comfortable and flexible.

Propét Village Walker - Very comfortable shoe, though I would like Propét to eliminate the embossed name on the heel of the insole. It doesn't take too much time to wear it down to unnoticeable, but at first it was annoying. The shoe has a rough texture so it is for casual wear, but it is extremely comfortable. No break-in needed. And phenomenal service by Zappos. The only way it could have been faster is if they sent the shoes before I ordered them. Zappos is less expensive AND fast!
