Although these boots weren\'t my first choice, I have to say I\'m very pleased with them. Didn\'t need any \'break-in\' time. I have wide feet and have spent over a year (and a bit of money) to find a hiking boot that is comfortable. These fit the bill. My only complaint is that I wish they were completely waterproof, but I\'ve been using the water and stain repellant spray and altho not as good as actually having water proof boots, they\'ll do. And for the price and rapidity of delivery, I can\'t complain. Very comfy boot. I spend a lot of time hiking in the woods with my dog and these boots allow me to stay out for hours without having foot cramps.

I bought these in both colors. I have a wide foot and find it unusual to find a shoe that provides both comfort and the ability to wear thick socks. Many shoes, for me are too wide in the heel and not wide enough in the toe box. This boot provides a nice lacing that allows you to snug your heel in and back without killing the rest of your foot. I do not use the easy out as I still need to lace/relace when I put the shoe on. Nevertheless, I think they are unbeatable as a comfortable light boot for the price. As someone else pointed out, they are not "waterproof", but with proper treatment, they are quite serviceable. I bought this in a 9(D). I go between a D and EE depending on the shoe.

Very pleased with this purchase - found them true to size; also has support. I have a wide foot and ordered 1/2 size smaller - only complaint is it took a little while to wear them in as they are very stiff when first purchased - all in all very pleased. I love shopping at Zappos.

These shoes fit very well, considering I have a narrow foot. I wore them for the first time at an all day outdoor adventure. They didn't need any breaking in. My feet were warm and comfortable.

I bought the pink color of these boots and they are very sturdy yet comfortable, very nice. What I like the most is the zipper on the side and velcro closure which allows for room around the ankle for thicker socks or just plain breathing room!

This is my second pair of Propet boots and I am hooked. I usually wear size 8W(D) but I ordered these in 8WW since the first pair (a different style) was just a tiny bit snug with my thick wool socks. I probably could have worn an 8W in this style but the extra room allows me to wear additional padding leaving plenty of room for a very tender bunion on my right foot. With the extra padding it\'s like walking on air! I will definitely buy Propet boots again and as always, Zappos, you rock.

Great delivery. Love the color. Pretty comfortable - the 8D is very roomy- I’m a 7 wide in normal shoes. I took out their insole and replaced it with "Superfeet". They are very easy to lace tightly. One of the little suede tabs (that hold the laces in place on the tongue) snapped the first time I tried them on. That bit is very flimsy, but otherwise I love them.

Exactly what I needed - my custom orthotics fit perfectly inside, and the boots are very comfortable. The best feature is that the lacing goes all the way down to the toes. I can lace the boot tightly (and comfortably) around my whole foot. My feet are just a little too wide for medium-width shoes, but wides often feel too wide. These boots are perfect.

Love it! I needed a sturdy shoe for long desert walking/hikes. It needed stability, ankle support, comfort, and something thorns won't poke through. This shoe is perfect! I ordered 8.5 EE and it fits my wide feet.

I just received these and am very pleased with them. They feel true to size and width (I have wide feet). It is not visible in the picture but a nice feature of these is a small zipper and velcro strap on one side which allow you to slip the boot on and off without undoing the laces each time.

This shoe was great except for the ankle. The two ridges on either side of my ankle bone dug into me every time I walked. I am returning this shoe.

I'm more of a heels girl than hiking boots, but I really like these shoes. They are comfortable. The day after I got them I ended up walking more than a mile in them, and my feet didn't hurt in the least. I got them in wide, but probably could have fit my usually wide feet in regular width. The wide is very wide. They also have a handy hidden zipper on the inside, which helps to get the shoes off without having to loosen them too much. I like this feature, but I don't think it's as good as it could have been. The zipper doesn't go down far enough to make much of a difference, so you do still have to untie and loosen a bit. I was hoping I wouldn't have to untie at all. Overall, these are definitely great shoes. They are comfortable right off the truck.

Great hiking boot! Didn't know it had, but love the side entry/exit using the zipper and velcro strap. It saves the hassle of lacing a hiking boot each time! Overall, pretty comfy (I got a wide because of my bunions), and pretty good support.

The quality and detail in this product is amazing! From the textured shoelaces, the side zipper, extreme support, and the intense tread sole. A must have if you are looking for a high-quality hiking boot.
