Stability walker. I have problems with finding shoes wide enough, but these did the trick. They do run large, though. I think I could have gotten a 1/2 size smaller than my usual size. Overall, they're comfortable and look like regular tennis shoes, not orthopedic!

Looks good/feels AWFUL! I normally wear Reeboks but have grown frustrated with the air bladder leaking and making noise. So I bought a pair of these. I have very low arches and need good arch support -and Stability Walker promotes their arch support. I wore them in the house for about five hours and never put them back on because after I took them off, my feet hurt so badly I couldn't get to sleep the first night, and the pain continued for a week. I sent them back. The problem: the arch support is so far forward that it hit just above my arch rather than at the arch and caused severe irritation that was not noticable until the shoes had been off for a few hours. I was SO thankful that I did not wear these to work for the day; I would have been in absolute agony. If you buy them, be sure to wear them at home first for a short time -just in case. I bought another pair of Reeboks.

Great shoe I have wide feet and this shoe is great. It is comfortable and looks good too. I have worn these shoes up to 16 hours in a day and they were still comfortable. They do run large. I dropped down a whole size from what I normally wear.
Brands I'd also recommend: No other recommendations. For wide feet, this is the shoe.

at last a shoe that fits. These are fantastic, I don't have orthopedic problems, simply have freakishly wide feet (EEEE). For the first time I didn't have to buy mens athletic shoes to get width. These were so comfortable from the first wearing no blisters just bliss. These don't look dramatically different from standard athletic shoes, and I bought 2 pairs of these.

They were inexpensive. I was able to buy the black wide ones for $29.99 Canadian dollars about 18 American depending on the day of the week. Yes, we have outlet malls up here. For that price they were well worth the money. Now how do I prove that I walked 100o miles in them--maybe if they had little build in pedometers......... considereing I have to pay 350 Cdn for Mephisto, I honestly could not tell the difference. But they are ugly. How about some nice colours for women, poweder pink or powder blue, ice yellow, lilac, for those of use with wide feet why can;t we get fun coloured shoes?
Brands I'd also recommend: Easy Spirit if you like sweaty feet, DMX-10 if they are still available, mephisto if you have more money than brains

propet shoes. i would like to tell you about my thankfulness for the shoes. i love the shoes. i have had foot surgery and can't seem to find a shoe that is wide enough. i finally came across the white and black stability walker. that has made me enjoy life alot better. i work on my feet for 8 to 9 hours per day. now i can continue doing my job. thanks to propet shoes.

I have these in white and want another pair... help I have orthopedic problems and purchased this style in white. Now I cannot find the white. Please help! My feet are finally healthy and I really need another pair with the support and stability these provide.

The most comfortable ever! These shoes are the first ones that are actually wide enough for my feet - no pinching across the broadest point. They provide lots of support and the broad base for stability that my orthopedic doctor recommended. And they have a removable footbed and accommodate an orthopedic insert. I have worn mine for about 3 years now, and they still look great and don't show the wear. And I walk for miles on the treadmill at the "Y"!

Theresa from Minneapolis, Minnesota I own Propet Stability Walkers (first pair). I sought out a good pair of walking shoes as I have osteoarthritis in my right foot. These shoes are amazing. The side to side support actually helps to correct my gait or "step down" onto the right foot. I'll never buy another brand!

Repeat Customer. My first pair was purchased on a clearance table two years ago. What a lucky day for my overworked and abused feet! I'm a nurse and frequently work 12+ hour shifts. While wearing these shoes I find that I'm still able to make it to my car without crying. I do not exagerate.

looking for 2nd pair I wore my first pair of these shoes for about 2 years almost everyday before they finally wore out. The width was good but this time will a half size larger just because I found that is what I need. My left is flat due to old injury. These shoes never hurt that foot. Am buying another pair.

Best shoe ever. The Propet Stability walker is the best shoe I've ever worn. I walk on concrete all day at work and my feet don't hurt. I've been wearing this shoe for over 3 years and hope I never have to find another one. It gives a lot of support and is wide enough for complete comfort. I've always had a hard time finding comfortable shoes in my size (12WW) until I found this one. It's the best shoe I've ever worn.

Worse shoes I ever owned - My old confortable shoes started sqeeking so I decided to try for walking shoes online. Bad idea for me. I have been wearing them for a full day now and the sqeek in these new shoes are so loud! Not only that but they are so stiff, they are hurting the side of my feet. I will just have to somehow adjust to them. Next time I suppose I will just have to go and try on shoes. This is a great idea for some people I guess, but not for me. Ah....! taking them off is the best these shoes provide. For those with easy to dress feet just the sqeek alone should be enough to steer away from these and toward a nice pair of Nike or Reebok. I should have.

Why does the toe have to taper so much? One of my feet measures 6 1/2 E and the other 7 D. My New Balance 841's size 7 2E are too narrow. Based on the reviews I read here, I bought a black pair of 6 1/2 XX Stability Walkers and couldn't wait for them to arrive. They are a tiny bit wider than the New Balance, but the toe tapers narrowing the toe box to the point of discomfort. They just weren't wide enough in the right area. I returned them, very disappointed. But if you do have a bunion, this shoe is very deep where it counts most!

Wide feet - Most comforable shoes I've ever worn. Great for my 8.5 EEEE feet. Thank goodness there's finally a shoe company that has figured out there are plenty of women with really wide feet!

Quality isn't very good!! I ordered these shoes to wear at work with tile floors and the toe area is narrow and hurt my toes, then within a month the tip of the sole came unglued from the shoe and now, after 5 months the bottom part of the sole is coming off. I am very disapointed in these shoes.

BEST SHOE ON THE MARKET - I discovered them by accident ,but I immediately knew that I loved these shoes. I have had them for about 3 yrs. and never changed my opinion. Now,I need new ones and have not been unable to locate them locally. I am so thankful to be able to get them online! I just don't want any other shoes. Thank-you so much!

UNCOMFORTABLE - I had read the positive reviews on this shoe before purchases them, but then I didn't notice the negative feedback until after I bought them. I might not have bought them if I read the negative comments. These shoes smother my feet after a few hours of wearing them. I can't wait to take them off. The leather is extremely hard and it doesn't loosen up after a few times of wearing them like most shoes do. They're VERY heavy in weight also...feels almost like Boot Camp shoes soldiers wear. These shoes are just too pricey for what you get. I had to finally chunk them and get me some other name brand shoes instead. I just couldn't wear these shoes another day.
