I bought these boots about three years ago. Within a year they developed the right heel started squeaking and then fell off (separated). This might have been a manufacturing issue only from that year, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up. I noticed reading the reviews on another Propet boot that others had the same problem, so I came here to make this review.

While the fit and style were great, after two months of wear the heel split on one boot and became detached from the upper on the other boot. I would not recommend them.

These boots are exactly what you want to keep your feet air and water dry while at the same time being very lightweight. The only downside to them, is they are not accurate to the size. They seem to run a half size smaller. In fact I sent my originally ordered size 9's back and am now going to try ordering the 8.5's to see if they are better. But I loved them...hated to send them back!

This shoe was wide enough but tight and stiff around the ankle. Even with the zippers down, they just felt stiff around my ankle. I do have heavy legs.

I am wearing my boots as I type. Ordering is top notch. Delivery is as advertised. Quality of product is more than expected! As I wear a shoe size not usually carried in local shoe stores, I was expecting to have to send these back and try again. However, I put them on, they fit and were so comfortable I took my dog for a walk! Thank you yet again, Zappos, for doing what you advertise. From a very satisfied customer.

The front of the ankle on this boot was oddly high and too narrow for my ankle/calf, and i had to return it. Otherwise a good fit.

I am very happy with these shoes. I am recovering from an ankle fracture, my old shoes were hard. These are very comfortable and I am able to wear them for long hours. The cushioning in the heels helps me walk without soreness. It is also slip-resistant and I am confident about walking on snow. I first bought my usual size from an online site, but could not put my feet in, so returned them and ordered half size larger from Zappos, only because they provide free returns. The shoe arrived in 2 days. I do and own other Propet shoes. They may not look very high-end, but they look very decent, last several years, and are very comfortable to wear. I would like them to add a pair of good slip-on shoes to their list.

I usually find a good fit with Propet but these boots were a little wide in forefoot & too stiff at the top.

Very impressed with these boots. They are true to size. I wear AFO's and they fix perfect down in them and because of the 2 zippers they are easy to get in and out of.

Seems very well-made and feels very warm. I usually wear EE width and needed to get 4E in this to have adequate wiggle room out at pinkie-toe.

I needed a shoe that was okay for the office but warm and with good traction for outside. This shoe has been perfect. Like other reviewers I thought it was too small at first but I tried it with thin socks initially and after a day it softened up and fit nice, so I will say it is "true to size". I wear my regular socks now and my feet are warm and toasty. The grip on icy pavement is secure. My feet are on the wide side although I usually don't order the wide width. I did replace the insole to get better arch support.

These are fabulous shoes! I got them when I developed a bunion from wearing my other shoes. These are great. I ordered a 9.5 2E, and it was perfect! I originally ordered them just because they were wide enough (yippee), but I've found them to be functional too. They are very comfortable. I walk 2-4 miles a day in them and am on my feet a lot, and have been very pleased with the comfort. The traction is also great. While people around me slip and slide all over on the snow and ice, I feel very confident and haven't slipped wearing these. Also, they actually keep my feet warm! It has been very cold in Montana lately, and these have been a lifesaver. I wear my wool socks underneath and my toes are not frozen. Normally for sub-freezing temps, no shoe can hack it, but when it is 0 to 20 degrees it, my feet have been fine. I actually choose these now over my expensive Pac boots since these actually keep my toes warm. The double zippers are really nice, and the ankle is just the right size and the shoe stays on my foot. The suede stripe on the side adds a nice touch and they are perfect winter dress boots (I often wear them with slacks). Highly recommended.

I found these great boots while just browsing through the Zappos boots. I was attracted to them by the tread on the bottom and the zippers on the sides. They have been excellent for all the snow and ice we have had this winter. The tread is excellent and the fit is perfect. I have found I don't need to unzip and zip both zippers on each shoe, that one will work fine. I think they are very nice looking and sort of fashionable and extremely comfortable. I would recommend them wholeheartedly. Of course the service from Zappos was absolutely terrific - they arrived in one day, right before our semi-blizzard!

I absolutely positively love these boots. They are great for those nasty winter days when you don't want to go out but have to. They required no break-in period and there's enough room to put my orthotics in for even more support. I love these boots and would have never found them without Zappos.

True to size and width, these comfortable boots aren't much to look at, but they are warm and solid on snow and ice and I was able to walk all day outside in them without any problems.

I love this boot! So comfy with an extra soft footbed. I have triangular shaped feet ("duck" feet with a wide forefoot and extra narrow heel). The wide width is roomy enough to wear with thick sports socks and still feel roomy, and the top of the boot (which does come over the ankle) minimizes the heel slippage that I usually have. I don't mind the high top because it's much lower than the stiff boots I skate in, so it's not a strange feeling for me. That part is leather and it softens up nicely with some break in time. The double zipper is really a plus. I have super skinny/bony ankles, so I can see that it might not be as comfortable for those with heavier ankles. It looks almost like a leather motorcycle boot (the kind they wear with leather racing suits) under pants. Zappos shipping was super fast - had them two days after I ordered.
