Frigid Walker Review - Haven't worn them for an extended time - no snow yet! They feel comfortable and I was pleased with the good traction I'll have with the soles. One odd thing - about two hours after I tried them on I noticed my ankles and feet were black. Apparently the color inside rubs off onto your feet/socks. This will not be appreciated when I wear them to work and then have black feet for the day!

Durable Outdoor Shoe - Shoe is a bit large, but very durable -- holds up well to water & mud. Easy to put on over even thick socks. Attractive enough to wear to work with jeans during ugly weather.

My shoe size is 12N but since there are no other boots like this to be found, I ordered this in a 12B. Of course it's too wide but with heavy wool socks it's okay. It looks surprisingly nice with leggings or narrow pants tucked in. I love the side zippers, the warmth (though not sure about really frigid weather) and the traction. Even with thinner socks, while I slosh a bit, they are not uncomfortable.

Two Zippers - Amazing - I purchased this for my 79 year old mother who uses a walker. They are warm and easy to walk in for her. The best thing about this shoe (that is not shown) is that there are two zippers! There are zippers on the inside and outside. There is not a boot that is easier to get on, especially if a person needs assistance. There are very stylish and perfect for Seattle rain and occasional snowy weather!

Zippers fall - When I first got them I said these are perfect. But now after wearing them for 2 months I noticed the zippers fall. Very irritating.

Excellent Choice - These boots are stylish and comfy! True to size and great with pants or a skirt. Also - as always, LOVE Zappos! Quick easy returns, refunds and delivery. I have dealt with other shoe companies that specialize in wide shoes, they charge for returns and they charged me a substantial restocking fee!! This does not happen at Zappos. Buy all of your shoes here.

This boot keeps my feet toasty warm for my commute on public transportation! Very comfortable - even with heavy socks. With zippers on both sides, it is very easy to slide the boot on and off.

I can walk - Denver has had incredible snow this year. No boots to be found. I was slipping and sliding and feeling generally unsafe. These boots are a miracle. I can walk anywhere and know that I am not going to slide!

Warm and dry! I really like these boots! They're warm and dry and there's plenty of room in the toe box, even with heavy socks. I'd give them 5 stars across the board if they had more arch support, but I do have extremely flat feet. They're also a little tight at the ankles (fat ankles) but I can just leave the zippers down a little at the top. And Zappos quick delivery was extraordinary!

New favorite winter walking boot. I love this boot. It is extremely comfortable and gives me plenty of traction in the snow. It is warm and lightweight. I do not feel as if I was walking around with a heavy weight on my foot. I love the fact that it came in wide because I can add socks if the temperature warrants.

Winter boots - Comfortable, warm. Especially comfortable in the forefoot area. I have sensitivity in that area and it is comfortable and wide enough without being ugly!

Yes, the zippers DO fall - These boots are warm and comfortable. The only problem is that zippers DO NOT stay up.

Great short boot - Wonderful boot...a rare find in wide widths. Looks even better in person than onscreen. I wish the ankle was a tad more roomy, but otherwise the boot is very comfortable.

Great boot - I bought this boot for horseback riding. I needed something to keep my feet warm, but not something too bulky. I bought the wide size because my feet tend to run a little wide and I wanted to be able to wear thicker socks with them. I am glad I did, because they didn't have as much room as I expected! I have had them 3 weeks now and they are loosening up a bit, though. They are very comfortable and SO easy to get into and out of with 2 zippers.
