The Propet Cronus shoe was exactly what I was looking for. I recently had foot surgery and needed a shoe that would go over my dressing. The Cronus did the job and continues to do the job since it's adjustable. And Zappos is my first choice when I need new footwear. Their prices are great and their delivery is second to none.

This was a great shoe for my father when he was ill & had severe swelling in his feet and legs. They were easy to get off and on with the velcro backs and tops. I found no other comparable shoe to this. It accommodated the extreme width that he needed and the soft material meant that there was nothing to rub or press on his fragile diabetic feet. They were a great find.

I bought these for my 81 year old uncle whose feet are swelling due to medical issues. He says they fit all right, but the fabric across the top is not sturdy enough for daily wear/use for him, as he is still driving, getting out, checking his property (he is a retired cowboy/oil-field guy. He misses being able to wear his cowboy boots). He said the width is good and the sole feels sturdy. He stated, "If your feet are really swollen, these would do the trick."

This shoe is truly remarkable and a God-send for my elderly father. Leg edema brought on by his Parkinson's disease causes his feet to swell, with size fluctuations not just from one foot to another, but size fluctuations from one week to the next. The innovative design of this shoe results in a sure fit regardless of the swelling. Because of his mobility issues, Dad hadn't been able to put shoes on without assistance for several years. Now he can! They've been a game changer for him and I'd recommend them to anyone with similar challenges. I'd recommend Zappos, too. Their price for this same shoe was less than 4 sites I visited, and way cheaper than 1 other site. Great service and great prices have earned them my customer loyalty.

My dad is suffering from congestive heart failure. When I realized he was squeezing his feet into his shoes I began looking for a solution. These are fabulous, just what he needed and they don't look too much like "special" shoes.

They were too big should of ordered a smaller size. My husband needs a size 13, but he has swollen feet so he needed the wideth.
