Propét Cliff Walker SKU: #7243528

I got these today, and they look nice but as I expected, you get what you pay for! I wouldn't use these to do any hiking or to do cliff walking. The sole just doesn't have the tread for walking around cliffs. You might find yourself sliding off of a cliff! Not much padding on the inside of the boot and not much cushioning for the bottom of the foot. They look nice on the website but the quality isn't there. I can see these boots would not last long with the type of materials used...If you are looking for a cheap boot; this is probably it for you. For me, I like comfort and quality made boots. These don't have it and don't do it for me. This is my review and hope it helps someone. These will go back along with the other pair of Propet I got. I can mark these off my list!

They are sturdy and the fit in the toe box and heel areas is very comfortable. Unfortunately, they rub like crazy around the tops as you walk. Even after loosening the laces and wearing thick socks the rubbing irritated the skin so much that I couldn't wear them anymore after three attempts.

First of all, let me just say that Zappos rocks! I bought this pair of boots for my husband for work. He is a UPS driver so his boots really get tested. When he said he needed a pair, I told him to order through Zappos, but he surfed until he found a little cheaper price. Well, he waited about two weeks to get his boots and then he didn't like them. So, I got on Zappos and found these boots. We ordered them on a Saturday night and got them Monday morning! He wore them Tuesday and loves them! Didn't even need a breaking in period! He normally likes to get Hi Tec boots, but couldn't find what he needed in his size.

The "Cliff Walker" has the kind of ugly style that seems to be trendy. It also has the kind of comfort that's really hard to find. Despite the clunky urban look the shoe is light, fits quite well around the ankle and my toes, instep, arch; my entire foot is comfortable throughout the hike I take with my dog every morning rain or shine, muck or rock-filled dust. Waterproof, too.

Bought two set of winter boots from this website and a spectacular price. I usually have a hard time finding size 16 but i found this website is awesome with the sizes. I will be purchasing my summer gear from here too. It will save me alot of time looking in stores.

This pair of Propet fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I have been using Zappos for a few years now, and have always had excellent service. They always have a good variety of shoes in a large size (16-4E). Their delivery time is the best of any company that I have dealt with online. Usually within two days maximum. And sometimes the next day. I have bought at least 12 pairs of different type shoes and their return policy is A-1. I had to return a pair twice to get the right size and fit and there was no charge for shipping or returns! I have recommended Zappos to many friends and will continue to do so!

Service was great and quick delivery. I bought these boots several months ago and they are fine, fit like a glove. So I bought another pair recently, same boots but they changed the part number. The left boot feels too big and my foot is loose inside it. So either my left foot shrunk (not likely, the old boots still fit fine) or the quality may have slipped.

Great work boot. Bought these boots for work. I'm a landscaper and on my feet most of the day for 6 days a week. Great shoe very comfortable, really waterproof and held up great for 7-8 months wearing them every day. Just ordered my second pair. My only wish is that they made them in a wider size. I can never find shoes wide enough for me.

Wouldn't buy this boot again. Bought about 9 months back, fit good, felt great for a little while, but really wore down fast. Sole is completely worn out, the inside is all torn up, and the stitching on the outside came apart. After less than a year, my pair are completely unwearable. Plus, they stink! I've washed them multiple times, use a powder, but I think the material itself reacts to sweat and really smells up the place. To the point that if I'm wearing them in the car, someone almost always asks "what smells?" To be fair, I wore these boots every day and worked them hard. If you're looking for a hiking boot, that you wont wear too often, these might fit the bill, but I'm going to be looking for something a little more well made for my next pair.

I have not really worn the boots at this point. I put them on and was amazed at how comfortable they were. However, I have not field tested them yet. I am concerned about the stiffness of the shoe around the ankle and am wondering if it will dig into the skin around the ankle.

A boot to keep - I ordered these boots for my husband last year to replace his dearly beloved Rockports which had finally expired from age. I am happy to report that he loves these just as much and has no complaints! (For a man with totally flat feet to be happy with a boot is a miracle!)

Cliff Walker - Lacing to last hook caused discomfort, so came down one from it. Shoe seemed longer than size 9, although width (3E) is excellent. I'm impressed w/value, shoe quality offered @Zappos.

OK - I purchased this hiker because of the size (I have a 5E width. I am very limited to what will fit). The size feels a little larger than stated. Comfort level...it’s not a hiking boot, but comfortable for general wear. (A good "gel" sole solves the problem.) I work in cold storage and the boot is fair, for warmth. After several weeks my overall rating would be 7 (scale 1-10).

A disappointment - I bought the shoes for work, where I am constantly kneeling and the insole of the shoe has started to break down after four days. The quick lace eyelets arrived bent out of shape and I needed to straighten them.

Cliff Walker - GREAT shoe! I am VERY pleased to have such a comfortable shoe. Propet makes wonderful shoes for those with really wide feet! I always bought just New Balance but got tired of the "sneaker look" and Propet gives me options around that. And NO, I do NOT work for Propet.

Terry - This is a very nice shoe for the price. It fit well and has a well cushioned sole. Great value for the price.

Propet's Cliff Walker - I bought these boots for work. I am on my feet most of the day and the Cliff Walkers have felt great from day one. They look good and seem very durable. There was no real break in time needed and as usual, Zappos service is second to none, outstanding!

I have duck feet that like to stay dry. The 5E size fits my feet just fine. The boot size is large, so 10 1/2 gives my toes room to play and swell when I'm on a long walk. I took my virgin boots up a Limahouli stream on Kauai, right out of the box, with no break in. My feet were happy and dry. When my feet are happy, so am I. I am stuck on Zappos. Can I buy stock?
