Great work boot. Bought these boots for work. I'm a landscaper and on my feet most of the day for 6 days a week. Great shoe very comfortable, really waterproof and held up great for 7-8 months wearing them every day. Just ordered my second pair. My only wish is that they made them in a wider size. I can never find shoes wide enough for me.

Wouldn't buy this boot again. Bought about 9 months back, fit good, felt great for a little while, but really wore down fast. Sole is completely worn out, the inside is all torn up, and the stitching on the outside came apart. After less than a year, my pair are completely unwearable. Plus, they stink! I've washed them multiple times, use a powder, but I think the material itself reacts to sweat and really smells up the place. To the point that if I'm wearing them in the car, someone almost always asks "what smells?" To be fair, I wore these boots every day and worked them hard. If you're looking for a hiking boot, that you wont wear too often, these might fit the bill, but I'm going to be looking for something a little more well made for my next pair.

I have not really worn the boots at this point. I put them on and was amazed at how comfortable they were. However, I have not field tested them yet. I am concerned about the stiffness of the shoe around the ankle and am wondering if it will dig into the skin around the ankle.

Lacing to last hook caused discomfort, so came down one from it. Shoe seemed longer than size 9, although width (3E) is excellent. I'm impressed w/value, shoe quality offered @Zappos.

I purchased this hiker because of the size (I have a 5E width. I am very limited to what will fit). The size feels a little larger than stated. Comfort level...it’s not a hiking boot, but comfortable for general wear. (A good "gel" sole solves the problem.) I work in cold storage and the boot is fair, for warmth. After several weeks my overall rating would be 7 (scale 1-10).

A disappointment -
I bought the shoes for work, where I am constantly kneeling and the insole of the shoe has started to break down after four days. The quick lace eyelets arrived bent out of shape and I needed to straighten them.

GREAT shoe! I am VERY pleased to have such a comfortable shoe. Propet makes wonderful shoes for those with really wide feet! I always bought just New Balance but got tired of the "sneaker look" and Propet gives me options around that. And NO, I do NOT work for Propet.

I bought these boots for work. I am on my feet most of the day and the Cliff Walkers have felt great from day one. They look good and seem very durable. There was no real break in time needed and as usual, Zappos service is second to none, outstanding!

I have duck feet that like to stay dry.
The 5E size fits my feet just fine. The boot size is large, so 10 1/2 gives my toes room to play and swell when I'm on a long walk. I took my virgin boots up a Limahouli stream on Kauai, right out of the box, with no break in. My feet were happy and dry. When my feet are happy, so am I. I am stuck on Zappos. Can I buy stock?

My son wears a size 15 narrow, and it has been difficult to find shoes, except at ZAPPOS! The shoe was a little wide for his feet, but with a couple of pair of wool socks, he was in good shape. No blisters, no hot spots. He does wear orthotics and had no trouble with them fitting inside the shoes. He wore them out in Washington state in the snow and will use them this summer for hiking. I ordered them at 1pm on Sat. afternoon and they arrived at 10a.m. Monday morning! You can't beat that!

Cliff Walker is outstanding!
I purchased the cliff walkers as an alternative to the steel-toes that I normally wear for work. I've had them for about a month now and love them. They feel light, provide great cushioning, and were quick to break-in. My only complaint is that the insole of the left boot began to shift constantly after only a week. I replaced the stock insoles with some Dr. Scholl's and the problem was solved. These boots are so comfortable, I'm seriously considering a second pair to alternate during the work week.

I have difficult feet to fit...this shoe is so comfortable and provides the required support. The Cliff Walker provides great traction in the snow and keeps my feet warm as well. Not only does it fit well, it tastes great too. Ask my dog Emmy...she loved it so much she ate the right shoe...hence; I've re-ordered another pair because they are one of the best fitting boots I've found in years.

Zappos is AWESOME. My first order was delivered in less than a day! The shoe runs 1/2 size bigger than listed so I had to send them back. I called the help desk and they emailed me a label for FREE shipping back. The guy even gave me several web sites of competitors to go to since they were out of the next smaller size. I was put on a mailing list and w/in 2 weeks got an email that the new supply was in. I called at around 10PM and the boots were on my doorstep by NOON the next day!!

Good with orthotics, but-
Works good with orthotics. Good support. Cushy feel, but it doesn't breathe. My feet feel cold and wet. Probably will take a hole punch and make some holes on the side so there is some air circulation.

Cute casual shoe. It is VERY comfortable around the toes (plenty of room), and I think the interior is velour because it feels so soft and nice inside. It does cut into my foot a tiny bit when I stand, but since the material is flexible it isn’t painful when I walk. I got it in the beige color.

I have tried several different pairs of boots and shoes, but the Cliff Walker fits my needs to a T. I am a pretty big guy and have wide, flat feet, arthritis in both knees and I am a warehouse manager. So after a long day of my feet pounding the concrete, it was a complete joy to find a boot that will take that kind of abuse and still give me comfort all day long! They have great comfort straight from the box, no break in time. It is also the only 6" non steel toe boot that I have found in my size 10-1/2,5E! Well enough about the boot, the Customer Service from the Zappos Support Team is Excellent and the fact that they have free shipping both ways, in this economy, is more than enough reason for me to shop with them! Thanks Zappos! I'll Be Back!
