Very comfy shoes. I used these last year at my job which requires lots of time moving on asphalt and concrete. Having broken hip and pelvis over the years and an artificial knee I find the padding and support in these shoes to be unsurpassed. No question though...either my feet got a full size bigger from last year, which I doubt, or they are running small in this model this year. Order at least a half size larger

I just started my second pair. I got about 400 miles on the first, which is about my norm. I have worn Bondi B's, Bondi S', Kailua's previously, and loved them all. This is the first of the Hoka's that retain the cushioning of the Bondi's without the bulk. Both the street and trail shoes have a nice snug fit, but the trail shoe provides more cushioning. I will not wear anything but Hoka's after 40 years of running and trying everything...

Brands I'd also recommend: stay with any Hoka's (except the Conquests)

These are great shoes. They are worth the price. I ran three miles immediately after purchase. They are noticeably softer than any other shoes that I have owned; Glycerin, Nimbus, Vomeros, etc. I felt no pain or fatigue after the run. However I did find the tongue annoying, it kept sliding to the side and the quick lace thing - which I never liked on any shoes. Luckily they provide regular laces. For such high shoes, I never felt like rolling an ankle. They are very stable and plush. I am already thinking of buying a road version, the Conquest.

Brands I'd also recommend: Asics, Brooks, Saucony

Very narrow, couldn't even get them on my feet sent them strait back. Fully 3/4 inch narrower in the sole than my previous purchase of Hoka's, for the same size shoe. Only way these would work is if you have a very narrow foot (I wear a 13-D for comparison). Can't review any other aspect of shoe as I couldn't even put them on.

Brands I'd also recommend: Brooks

They squeak! Not what I thought I was getting. I have seen some other Hoka's and they look different. The squeaking when you run in them drives me crazy!
