I bought the taupe and feel they are as pictured. I am picky about the appearance of faux leather, and these are not disappointing. The shaft is rather tall, the tabs are just at my knee, if you have short legs they may be too tall for you. They are comfortable to walk in. I have a wide foot and high instep, but my toes don't feel cramped. I have athletic calves and they fit more snuggly than the model, but there is plenty of room, and the zipper makes it easy to put them on. I think that they are a good boot for the price point.

Bummer...loved the style but shaft didn't fit my calves...foot part was great, (size 8) but couldn't zipper them up. Description said circumference is 16...not sure I believe that...measured them at 15".

These boots run small. I usually wear a 8 1/2 and bought them in that size. They fit tight over my calf but could not get my foot in the boot itself. So I sent them back and got a size ten. They fit perfect. The shaft with fit over skinny jeans perfectly. I love the color, Taupe, and they look great, the price was right and they don't look cheap. I would recommend these boots but they do run small in size.
