The best shoe I ever wore. Soft inside, no seams to rub, cord garage-so no flapping shoelaces and quick to put on, extra light and wide bottom for stability. Excellent but expensive, I hesitated for price but then ended up ordering another pair!!! It is worth it for comfort.

Brands I'd also recommend: Uggs boots or other models of Hoka

I am so happy I found these shoes! I have knee and foot problems, and they really buffer the impact of concrete and paving. I hope you continue to carry this shoe.

I received them yesterday and took them out on my first run today. I was very nervous buying them at their price point having not tried them on and only going off of massive amounts of internet research and review reading. The are AWESOME, they felt soft but stable I did not feel unbalanced with the shoes at all. I thought that they would be bulky and clunky also not true. My first run in the rain I normally have mud marks on my calves from the heals rubbing, did not have any on this run. I bought another pair given the sales prices right now. :) Can't for my next ultra in these!

When I first saw these Hokas on someone I was at a race. I thought they kinda looked funny, but she swore by them.... well - that race I injured my foot of all things. In speaking with my coach and my ART Chiro - they recommended them to me. The minuet I put them on I loved them, and frankly, I didn't care how much they cost as I am 4 months out from my first Ironman. I just bought my second pair, and a pair for my spouse. I wont be wearing anything else.

These are the best sneakers ever. And, this light purple/gray combination is very attractive (unlike some of the models with the name printed on the side... yuk!) They are so light weight yet very supportive. I do not need my prescription insole with these sneakers. I really like the pull string laces as well. I use them for trail hiking. I had to order my normal shoe size and not go up half a size for sneakers as I normally would do.

I broke my foot this summer and the doctor said to wear a good gym shoe. I tried my older shoes and they hurt, I tried many other new shoes and the most expensive one. Hoka One One was the one that didn't hurt. I love these shoes! They are soft, light and have a stable base. I didn't care for the looks, but comfort is much more important. They are the most comfortable shoes I ever wore! Don't hesitate with price, they are truly worth it. I am going to order another pair while I can still get them.

I love this brand. I was trying to replace an evo Stinson and they just had this model. The 8.5 was too large and the 8 felt tight. Will keep looking for old brand. Best sneakers ever.

After 20+ years of running I started having hip pain and was told by an ortho surgeon and a physical therapist that I should find something else to do. Always a careful runner, soft surface, stable shoes, no extremes and not one to quit, I tried jogging again once the hip pain was gone. Then my feet started to hurt! Found a podiatrist that introduced me to these shoes and now I'm on my way to running again! I'm doing the walk/jog thing, but these shoes are so stable and comfortable, I have no foot pain. Brooks Cascadia was my fave shoe for years, but I don't think I'll be going back.

I ordered this shoe to use during long mountain runs. Most days I run in the Brooks Cascadia, which is a wonderful workhorse shoe that fits me perfectly (I've worn them for years!). The Hoka Stinton has lived up to my expectations so far, providing a welcome break on rugged runs over 10 miles. The cushion is a little stiffer than I expected, but that's great news in my opinion. I was a little worried about tripping over rocks and dragging my feet due to the dramatic "lift," but that seems to be a non-issue. This shoe really helps me bomb down steep hills while reducing impact on my knees. The fit is slightly roomy - I wear an 8.5 in Brooks and Nike, and an 8 is perfect in these. Would definitely recommend to other trail runners who don't mind the goofy look and want a tool to help push mileage higher. This particular model in the anthracite color is less aesthetically offensive than some of the other Hokas - almost looks like a regular shoe!

These shoes are great for hard surfaces. I have back problems and have a hard time walking my dogs down the road. I am having less problem with backache while walking.

Love these shoes! Lightweight, cushioned ride but stable. How did they do it? I always buy half size up for running shoes and did so for these. Just right. Saw several ultra runners wearing these at Angeles Crest 100 mile Endurance Run 2013.

I saw a woman on the street wearing these and said, "Are those MBT's?" She said, "No. They are better. My doctor told me to get them, and I love them." I do too. They are cushy and classy...the color blends with everything.

These shoes are the most expensive shoes that I have ever purchased, but they are well worth it! I have been plagued with plantar fasciitis for years (I am on my feet 12 hours a day at work). These shoes are so comfy and supportive that my feet don't even feel as though I have gone for a run. Furthermore, my legs don't ache after runs. Prior to these shoes I had tried everything, literally everything. I am so happy that I purchased these shoes. I have recommended them to everyone. I think they are cute looking, too. I get a lot of compliments.

Amazing. These shoes are amazing. They're a little weird to get used to at first, they're kind of unattractive (they kind of resemble those 'balance ball' shoes. Although, I think these look better), and they're not magic (they won't do the running for you). But if you suffer from joint issues or shin splints - they make a huge difference! I will only run long distance in Hokas from now on!

I normally wear a 7.5 women's' Mizuno and bought a 7 in the this shoe. It feels a little short in length, so if you are between a 7 and 7.5, I'd say get both and try them on. The challenge is that the longer you go in length, the more volume in the toe box. I have narrow feet and high arches, I liked that I could get these pulled tight enough with the zip lacing system. The only thing I don't like about these shoes is that the tongue has "sueded" material which I couldn't really see from the image. I don't know if the material will hold up in rain/wet conditions.

Great trail/running shoe...I have been waiting for the new Hokas for some time and they did not disappoint. In fact I just purchased a second pair because they fit so well and my injured Achilles is cured, largely because of the Hokas. I run both street and trail and these shoes work well for both. (I also do my regular cross fit training in these.) This new model seems slight smaller than last springs Stinsons and maybe slightly more narrow which is a good feature. I thought last spring's model ran large. The grey color is very nice looking. There is definitely a small learning curve to adjusting to these shoes as the base of support is wide but in no time will be flying in these amazing shoes.
