I love these boots. They are very easy to fold up and transport, and are very lightweight and comfortable. However, the description lists the circumference at 15 inches, and I am unable to find a place on the boot where it is greater than 14 (I ordered a size 9). Unfortunately, they are too narrow for me and I will not be able to wear them over pants or with socks, so they will have to go back.

I ordered both the Originals and the Tour to compare them. I love the green color and the style and really wanted to keep one of the pairs, but in the end I couldn't justify the price. Hunter only has a 12-month warranty and many of the reviews on Amazon complain about seams splitting, leakage, and unhelpful responses from the company that recommend "never using the boots in any type of flooding, whether it be 2" or 5" of water." What?? The Tours were much more comfortable, but made much more cheaply, so it's very surprising that they cost the same as the Originals. The Tours are made in China, and the Originals are made in Indonesia -- which isn't necessarily bad in and of itself, but when I looked closely at the boots themselves, neither pair oozed a quality that seemed to justify their price, and the Hunter website didn't contain any reassurances beyond a 12-month warranty. Really sad to send these back, because they are very cute. I might try and find a vintage pair that was made before the quality of construction decreased.

Love the Tour boot. Fits true to size, and is a good option for me over the regular Hunter boots because the height isn't as high up my leg. Fits me perfect.

This packable boot would be great except that it is too tight around the top so they are coming back. As always, Zappos service is awesome so I'll keep looking there for a packable boot that has good support, is supple and durable, and has a comfortable, non-binding, shaft.

Love them! To me, they look more red and less orange in person than in the picture. I love the closer fit to my calf than the regular Hunter boots, which I ordered as well and sent back. I wear a 8 1/2 in most shoes, and the 8 fit perfectly.

These boots were exactly what I was looking for. The weight of the boot is not as heavy as other rain boots I have tried. The material is softer and the top does not have a big bell opening. I have small calves so I don't know if they would work for everyone. I ordered the boot in my reg size and they fit the way I desire. I now smile when the weather forecasts rain.;-)

Love the boots and color. They are super comfortable and worth the investment. Mine are a little snug in the calf so if you have bigger calves, you may want to order ones with an adjustable buckle or look for a wide calf option.

I bought the original boots 2 years ago and then had to return because it was way too heavy. It is my second pair of Tour boots. and I really love them. Very light, and fit right since I have slim calves. I ordered size 8 instead of size 7 (my size is 7.5) because of the length I was aware of. I am 5'7" and the length was just perfect.

I spend a lot of time in rain boots and this is a great boot. I bought it specifically for travel and it travels well. It folds compactly and then bounces back to its original shape. It is comfortable and the Hunter liners fit in nicely, making it an all season boot. Plus I love the color.

I had the original hunter and I'm so glad I decided to give the tour a try! I've always liked having extra room in my hunter rainboots so that they would fit if I decide to wear thick socks in winter. The calf is much narrower than the original, which works great for me. I haven't tried fitting into them with welly socks yet. Since the shaft is also lower, my only concern is that the welly socks won't go well with the tour style. Other than that, love the lightweight and much softer rubber!

Definitely the style for you if your calves measure 13 in. & below. While go for the adjustable back straps if you have bigger legs. I'm petite, 5 ft., and the height of the Hunter Original Tour is just right. It doesn't cut at the back of my knees. The fact that its rubber is made softer that it's packable & foldable, these boots are lightweight & feel comfortable. It hugs perfectly around the legs with or without the welly socks. Looks nice and fashionable. I love the idea that you can work these boots for snow & rain. In fact, I'm sold out that I'm buying the short one for my hubby. Hope it works for him.

I finally found a rain boot that looks good on my 13 inch calves. All of the other boots made me look like I was standing in buckets. I usually wear a 7.5, but after reading reviews I ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly. Best rain boot ever for thin calves.

Great boot. Excellent for snowy weather when worn with hunter socks. Highly recommend. I've been in them all winter, they are easy to clean too. Just wipe them down.

Love! I wear these all the time. After looking for over two years for plain black boots (I don't know how I hadn't found these before now), I finally came across them and won't take them off! I work in a really conservative environment and have to walk to different buildings throughout the day. On really busy days when its raining and changing into more professional shoes (heels especially) just isn't practical, these boots do the trick. They're significantly lighter and more comfortable than other Hunter boots as well. Will probably purchase in a more fun color as well for more casual looks. Absolutely recommend!

Great boots, lightweight, pack-able...awesome. Got them for my Daughter who already has a pair of Hunter boots. She is thrilled to have a lightweight version to add to her regular ones.

I absolutely love these boots. I have been looking for classic, plain, black rain boots for over two years. I have ordered about 40 online (literally) and tried many more in store. I am not quite sure how I did not see these until now but I have gotten so much use out of them. I cannot really wear them with pants (other than leggings). I typically wear them with tights and a dress/skirt since they are very narrow. They are so comfortable though that I was able to wear them for about 13 hours one day when I wound up traveling from NY - DC after a full work day and they were great. The buckles make it hard to sit with your legs crossed sometimes but other than that, they are perfect.

Love these boots so much. They kept my feet dry all weekend during a cold rainy camp trip. Fit true to size. I am 5'4" and the size 7 hits low enough below the knee where it isn't uncomfortable.

I love these boots! They are so much lighter and more comfortable than the original Hunter rain boots. I usually wear size 7.5 - 8 and based on other reviews went with size 7. It fits me perfecly. However, it might be a bit too snug with Wellies.

These boots are fantastic. Super flexible and light weight. I bought them for a rainy concert. They are great festival/concert boots. You can dance in them! I soon realized that they are also the perfect camping footwear (I bought the fleece liner to put on at night). These are nice looking, a breeze to clean and easy to put on and take off. I wear a 7.5 and have med-small calves and the size 7 fit very well with plenty of space for socks and pant-legs.

Loved the weight and the feel of the boot. They are just what I was looking for. Unfortunately they are a little tall for me and irritate the bottom of my knee. Will have to return them.

The original Tour boots are true to size. I wear a 9 narrow in most shoes, and the size 9 Tour boots fit well. They are not narrow, but fit me okay with socks. However, if I were to wear thicker winter socks or orthotics I would need to size up. My calves are 14", and I can wear slim leg pants and leggings with these. Hunter Tours are lightweight and flexible. Love them!

These are wonderful! I have tried other Hunter Boots in the past but they were heavy and clunky. These are lightweight but very sturdy and very comfortable. They are not only for packing and traveling. They are for everyday wear. Storage is a snap. I am in love. I will buy a second color. I almost always wear either a 7.5 or an 8 medium in footwear. I tried both the 7 and the 8. I chose the 7, but if I was going to wear heavy socks the 8 would have worked. I use mine more for rain than snow due to climate here.

I also own the original Hunter in glossy grey and these fit almost the same. These are not as clunky and much more mailable than the original. Have no issue with fitting my jeans down in them and stuck with the same size of my original Hunter boots. You can roll them up nicely and I'm thinking of putting a hair tie around each one when I pack them to keep them compact. I've read reviews about not being able to easily fit jeans or whatnot down in these, I disagree unless you have on wide-legged jeans or have on tall, VERY thick socks. Otherwise, these are able to have jeans tucked in them comfortably. I bought the mailable ones to take to South Africa again because luggage restrictions are different there, otherwise, I would have packed my glossies but compromised extra space in my bag that I can't give up for this trip.

I love these boots! I have yet to use them in the rain, but wearing them around I did notice that they are so much lighter than any other rain boots that I own. The calf is snug (because I do not have twig legs, nor do I have huge calfs) but it is not touching my skin. I can see how if you are shorter, the top might hit higher up on your leg, closer to your knee, whereas mine hits where my calf is significantly wider in the middle since I am taller (5'7"). I would definitely recommend these, they seem to be worth the price.

Love these boots! They are so comfortable, lightweight and cute. I've found rain boots that were so light and comfy, usually they are heavy and uncomfortable. I've never worn the Hunter originals so I can't compare the Tours to them, but I am thrilled with my purchase. I usually wear a size 8 in most shoes and boots, and bought a size 7 and they fit great.
