This is a great mountain biking shoe. It sticks to my flats and I haven't had a problem with any foot slippage. I cycled all over Moab wearing these and felt secure and comfortable through the technical terrain.

Great shoe overall. However, I really need a 12.5 and half sizes are not offered after a 12. Please offer half sizes for larger feet!

These are great! I have tried other flat pedals shoes 5.10, Teva LINKS, etc., and these are exactly what I am looking for in flat pedal shoes for all mountain riding. The sole is very stiff, almost like a clipless and grip is phenomenal. I have switched to flat pedals/shoes a couple of years ago due to knee issues but always missed the connected feeling clipless had - but no more. They do run a little wide, which is perfect for me since I am a EE. The only thing I would like is maybe Velcro strap to secure the laces, but that is more of a personal preference. These are not comfortable shoes for walking since they are stiff but they are great for what they are designed for. The smooth sole is also a great innovation.

Awesome mountain bike shoe. Lighter than the old Freeriders, just as durable. Stealth sole is super tacky - feels like you're clipped in on flat pedals. Definitely my new favorite shoe, on and off the bike.

Converted to flat pedals for mountain biking, mainly trail riding in New England. Needed some bike shoes for the flat pedals and heard good things about five ten. Well so far the shoes are delivering in good comfort, great hold on the pedal with stealth rubber sole and of course style looks awesome. Five ten offers other colors to meet everyone's style. Durability I can not rate yet, only have had a short amount of time but the rides I have been on they are holding up well. Hiking the bike in them is not as awkward as in clipless shoes and more comfortable. So if you are switching to flats or are already riding flats, the Five Ten shoe line up is worth looking at.

Definite improvement over the old Freerider. Sole is a bit stiffer which makes long days on the pedals nice. Also toe cap seems more protective than previous model. I run DMR vault pedals and the connection is incredible. Almost feel clipped in. The only drawback IMO is the bald spot in the tread pattern makes walking in winter conditions very dangerous.
