Superb fit. No heel slip. Roomy toe box prevents annoyed or crushed toes. SO light. Ventilation perfection.

I bought these for my son, for cross-fit workouts. He's 12, and I think it's very cool that they make these small enough for a middle schooler. He loves them. I have several pairs of Inov-8's myself, they have become my favorite brand by far. I prefer the F-Lite 195 for my workouts, although for running, at distances greater than 3-4 miles, I still prefer a fully cushioned running shoe. Great Brand!

Before purchasing the inov-8 F-Lite 192, I was turned off by it's high energy color. It took me a few day's to hit the purchase button. What finally sold me on this shoe was the solid way it appeared to be constructed. So I took a chance on my first pair of inov-8. Once on my feet the color was no longer an issue. The shoe is extremely comfortable. However, when wearing for hours you notice the ground pressures under your forefoot. I highly recommend the shoe for those of you ready for a zero drop shoe. I use the shoe for work in the health club, and mid to forefoot running.

Brands I'd also recommend: Adidas adipure lace

I have these, the F- Lite 230 and the Bare-XF 210. I have gotten used to minimalist shoes over the years and my first time trying inov-8 so I love walking around and lifting weights in the XFs and these even in socks although these might be better for running outside if I ever get around to it. All three fit true to size although I think these and the XFs have a better fit than the 230s. At the guy who gave the poor review, these do say rope tech at the bottom so they should be designed to withstand ropes and stuff even though they feel really ligth.

I really wanted to like this shoe, particularly coming from a year in a Inov8 F-Lite 195 (4mm drop). When the toes started to wear out, I wanted to transition to a 0 drop shoe and bought these hoping they would fit exactly the same. It's really unfortunate, but they must have updated the last width because these are just too narrow. After a few days in them, my fifth metatarsal just aches. I don't overtighten the laces or anything, and I've worn them enough that they're definitely broken in. In fact, the material on the side of the shoe has stretched out at my fifth metatarsal head, which my pair of 195s never did. For reference, my feet are around 104 mm wide (weighted) in a size 10. I'm bummed because I'm back to trying to find a 0-drop shoe with a C-D width forefoot that fits like a standard running flat. I would rate these a "B" width in the forefoot, or perhaps a narrow "C" width, but certainly not "D" width, as the description says. I don't know if the last width has changed across the whole F-Lite line (my 195s are pre "RopTec") or just this model. Otherwise, they're a great shoe. I've used them for walking (15-20 minutes to campus), running (road, track, and stairs), lifting (squats, etc), and they perform well in all conditions. I don't know if I would ever use them as a dedicated road running shoe, but they work very well as an all-around trainer.

Not a big fan have tried the 230's and was not too impressed. Was thinking of getting a 192 but being a big CrossFit nut did not think it would hold up on the ropes and all.
