I am a supinator. I was having a problem with my little toe getting pinched and blistered with my other shoes. The ASICS GEL-Lyte332 solved this problem well. I am also a fore foot striker and this shoe is nicely padded in the fore foot, but this design works my calves a little more because it gives a slight feeling of running up hill.

I bought these shoes from Zappos for my boyfriends birthday. The website was easy to use. I had tried another website before going to Zappos and it gave me some complications. Zappos was fun and easy to use. My boyfriend loves his new running shoes! I will definitely shop here again.

I have been running in low heel drop shoes for about 4 years. After switching to a zero heel drop shoe, and ignoring warnings to take it slow, I developed foot pain that has persisted for 18 months. I bought these shoes after switching to a traditional shoe (Brooks Ghost) that were very heavy. The Asics Gel-Lyte33 2 are the perfect blend of cushion, support, moderate heel drop, and weight. Bonus, the uppers are very flexible and are easy to pack on business trips.

Lightweight and comfortable. I use this shoe for running about 10 miles a week right now. This shoe is comfortable to run or walk in. I'd recommend this shoe to anyone, even if you aren't a runner.

Well, I really like this shoe so I thought I should pass on the recommendation. It is a very lightweight shoe and is cushioned extremely well. The shape of the insole is exactly perfect. Comfortable for walking, running and everyday. I am very picky about running shoes and have tried almost every brand and this is one of my all time favorite shoes. I also like Brooks Pure Flow 2 and Asics GT 2000 so if you like those models you will probably like wearing this one as much as I do. Order a half size up from street shoe size for a perfect fit.

Brands I'd also recommend: Brooks Pure Flow 2

Great running shoe. Snug while causing no pain or awkward foot placement. Stable so I can use it for light CF workouts or body weight training. Run 14-20 miles a week with no pain. Great running shoe.

These are great shoes, the lightest I have ever owned. I am 72, run about 15 miles/week and find these shoes a delight. I had to order one half size larger than othe Asics I have owned. Highly recommend them.

I have always run in Asics shoes and my last 2 pairs were Nimbus 12s which I really like but wanted to try a lighter shoe for a half-marathon. I just got the GEL-Lyte's today and ran 4 miles. The shoe is noticeably lighter (Size 14) and the mid-sole to the toe feels similar to the Nimbus. The big difference is the lower heel strike which I normally wear heavily on the Nimbus. I was pleased with the cushion and did not feel any difference on my knees or ankles. They seem to be well designed for racing 5Ks to Half Marathons. For Marathon running, it would be a trade off between cushion and weight for me as a 6' 4" runner. I plan on staying with the Asics Nimbus for training.

Pros: Having had ACL surgery and a removed meniscus, I need a shoe that absorbs shock for my knee and protects it. I did a 7 mile run (treadmill) and was really happy to have finished with no pain or streaks of pain in my knee. There was a little swelling compared to the normal lots of swelling. This is huge because it means I'll be able to enjoy the sports and running that I love a little longer and stronger. I'll need another pair for pavement, so I'm seriously considering buying another one after a few more trial runs. Cons: I do some quick stepping and other fast footwork training for sports. I did slide around in the shoe a little bit in a north south direction. I think the shoe is a little long and a little narrow. Just a tad. Of course, my feet could also be a little short and a little wide too. Thicker socks may do the trick here.

Brands I'd also recommend: new balance, live strong

I was a big Kinvara fan but eventually found it to be too firm for my hips liking. I run in the Saucony Ride 5 and really like that shoe. Tried the Saucony Virrata and hated it, too squishy and the sole felt really lumpy and unstable. Decided to give the Gel-Lyte 2 a whirl. I find it to be on the soft side, which I like. Unlike the awkward Virrata the Gel-Lyte 2 has a smooth bottom that feels more "stable" at the same time giving a very flexible, nice transition. Very easy to control your stride. So if you like the Kinvara but want more forefoot cushion, I highly recommend this shoe. I'm 5'11", 175, neutral midfoot striker, average 30 mile a week.

Ordered these Asics Gel Lyte33's and was not surprised at how much I liked them. They are extremely comfortable and fit very well. I recommend these only if you want a great comfortable, good looking and good fitting shoe.

This shoe is exactly what I needed. I did not realize until recently that I needed "special" support since I roll my foot away from my body. However, Asics has a shoe for that, and the support it exactly what it said it would be. This shoe took away the shin splints I have had my entire life when trying to run! The only reason I did not give them 5-stars across the board is because the material used on the side of the shoes seems flimsy. However, if they last as long as my last pair of Asics, they will be worthy of 5 stars.

These shoes are extremely light and flexable but still very well padded. I've always purchased Asics but these ran a bit smaller than usual.

They are very light weight, and more breathable than any shoe I can remember owning. Also of note on comfort - I usually wear inserts to account for high arches. The arch support in these shoes is so good I actually had to remove the inserts because it was too much in aggregate. Contrary to some reviews, I felt these shoes were true to size. I wear a 14 and got a good fit from 14s in these. I use them more for everyday wear than for running but they have felt good for all that I have done on both fronts. I've had them for about a month and if they remain durable I will very likely buy another pair.

This is a very comfortable shoe, very light, flexible, good cushioning. It also has enough room for my foot with "normal" cotton sport socks. My feet are slightly wide but not wide enough for "wide" shoes, size 11. In this shoe your foot sits lower, and the heel actually feels lower too. There is also enough "room" inside the shoe for the forefoot and toes without squashing them. The lower heel takes some getting used to, so I'd say test that out to see if you like it. Sharp looking too.

Great fitting lightweight sneaker. One problem - after wearing only once the top front near the laces was completely worn through. Not well made.
