Comfortable boot. My foot is not too wide so it was fine but it seen to run narrower than other wide width.

I have larger calves measuring approximately 15.5" wide with average ankles, size 6/6.5 in women. I'm also around 5' tall so my calves start a little lower than the average which makes it extremely hard to find the right pair boots. For me these came up about 2" below my knee which was perfect given my height. I ordered these in my normal size 6 and they fit a little long on the toe area but for my calves they were perfect! It wrapped nicely around the calves over jeans without cutting off my circulation. The leather is also a nice thick texture that feels high quality and very comfortable, there was no need to break into these. I hope this helps!

Great boots. I do have big calves and, although a little tight at first, they fit! They run a bit small so I had to buy one side up from normal and in a wide width.

So after reading the reviews I took the plunge and ordered these boots thinking that they would accommodate my wide calves. My left calf is bigger than my right and measures about 19" (I am also 5'5" in height). I could get these boots zipped over my bare calf, but they were tight and would have been difficult to zip all the way up with skinny jeans or leggings on. So, I have to send them back. They looked great, but the whole point was to be able to wear them with jeans, jeggings, etc. tucked into the boots for the stylish look this year. I guess I will keep trying to find boots that really are for wide calves.

Brands I'd also recommend: David Tate or Ros Hommerson wide calf boots

Would be a great boot if the pebbled material didn't look so cheap. The boot had a nice height, fit my wide foot and calf and had nice detailing. It did have very rigid heel support which might be a bit much for some people. Really liked the boot but I just couldn't get over the tacky look.

I loved the look of these boots, but unfortunately, they just did not fit well. They were too narrow in the foot area, and the shaft hit at the widest part of my calf and was very tight. I had to return them.

I was really disappointed. I ordered a wide width, but they were very tight. Truthfully, I thought they'd mismarked a narrow boot as a wide width.

I am in the process of returning these. My calves measure at just a tad ove 15". I couldn't zip these up. I also found them to be narrow and too long.

I'm sorry but in person these boots look cheap! I could see them costing $50 or $60 but not this price for as inexpensive as they look!

Bought this boot on a whim since there were no prior reviews at the time. Sadly, I couldn't even try it on properly because I couldn't fit my foot into the footbed (I normally wear medium width and this was wide width!). Can't really reflect on comfort or how the shaft fits, but I can say they immediately looked cheap out of the box. The sole has a "wrinkle" in it (not really sure how to explain but it is not a smooth line) and the stitching and leather doesn't look well made.

Fit very snugly and was not truly "wide-calf." Also, leather seemed very cheap and you could see all of the stitching. This boot seems very overpriced for what you get.

I always wear a 6.5 in my shoes and boots but couldn't even get my foot in these. I didn't like the quality of the leather either. They look cheap.

This boot is much smaller than its size indicates and I ordered up 1/2 size. I have no idea if it would have zipped or how it looked as I couldn't even get my foot in it. So back it goes. Thanks goodness for Zappos great return policy.

I couldn't even tell you what the calf width felt like, because I couldn't even get my heel into the footbed. I typically wear a 7 1/2 wide, I ordered an 8 wide based on reviews. Didn't matter, I couldn't even get my foot in wearing thin socks. I have to send these back. I am very disappointed, because the style is very cute. But aside from fit, the leather appeared very cheap. Like maybe it would start peeling by the 3rd wearing.
