Very nice, work/casual shoe. I wanted a shoe to wear with jeans and run errands in, without having to put on a nice pair of boots. These not only look stylish, but they have a great fit on my foot. They ran true to size for me...8.5 medium.

I bought these in pink, and they are so cute! They are comfortable, although for the first few wearings I'm sticking with thick high socks to break in the ankles. These are great weekend shoes; I appraise real estate so they are cute enough to wear in the field. They are more sturdy than sneakers as well.

I needed a boot style shoe that could accommodate my orthotic inserts. I ordered a wide instead of medium width in my regular size 10, and it fits perfectly. The leather is sturdy yet comfortable, and doesn't seem like a big "break-in" period will be needed (who has that kind of time or patience?). Seems very well constructed. As a person who has to have quality made shoes for my very picky feet, I think this shoe is a winner.

I have had Red Wings and these are infinitely more comfortable from the beginning. I ordered wide and what a relief! They are sturdy, well-constructed. Because they are close to the ankle, I would advise thick socks in the first wearing. Oh they also have removable/replaceable orthotics.

This boot is sturdy & fits the bill in rain or snow. A bit stiff until they're broken in, but for the most part they are comfy.

Nice boots, wish they fit. Not wide enough for really wide feet, but otherwise they look very sturdy and durable. Why is it so hard to find functional shoes like these in woman's extra wide sizes?

I like the style of these boots for long walks and traveling in icy/snowy conditions. I am a size 7 wide but wear plenty of regular 7s as well so I ordered a 7W and a 7½W. These boots run a true size 7 in length, but the 7W is not quite as wide as I need. The 7½ width is better but then they are too long. So I can manage the 7 by wearing thin socks and hoping they stretch out a little more. The tongue is overly stiff and long and rubs the front of my ankle; I have to wear band-aids and rollover socks and the leather is getting softer after about a week of wear. They seem well made but the biggest improvement would be to make them wider from the start. I have heard European brands run wider and I did try on some great Prada dress boots where their regular 7 was wide enough for me. Of course, they cost a lot more so these will do for now.

I got this boot with high hopes b/c of the Timberland brand - to replace a suede chukka CAT no longer makes. These were going to be "working in the field, rural work" kind of shoes. I was not willing to endure the pain that was sure to come from trying to break in the rather stiff high collar at the ankle. They were also TOO HEAVY for a long day of working in a large (several acres) uneven rural yard and in hilly wooded areas. The tongue is sewn in quite high, so it's not very moveable/adjustable for comfort. The sole was too stiff. Although they appeared well-made (Vietnam) They're going back. CAT - please bring back the light-weight, durable, low-profile at the ankle, soft as buter suede women's chukka! In the meantime, I am trying Vintage Shoe Company suede chukkas, that were not available directly from Zappos although they DO carry Vintage Shoe Co shoes. I'm getting them from 6pm.com - which upon checkout appears to be associated with Zappos - Wish I didn't have to have two separate accounts and passwords! The Vintage Shoe Company Shoes are made in the USA (PA) and while they too are high in the ankle, they are suede, and they appear pretty soft - "Like Butta..." We'll see .... Glad to be have found something of quality and American made!
