Well...this is a wonderful boot. The color is so much better in person and they compliment a pair of jeans or a skirt. However, I just ordered a half size smaller because they seem to run a little big. I plan on trying both on and than making a decision on the one that fits the best. Cannot wait to make that decision so I can wear them out!

I love these. They are so unbelievably comfortable. In true Frye fashion, half a size smaller is ideal. I am not taking them off for the rest of winter! I am a Frye girl for life at this point.

I love these boots but I am returning. Although the style of the ankle is as pictured in the photos and video, such a wide and gappy opening on a 'bootie' just looks silly on me - it accentuates my larger calf muscles. They would look much better with big wooly socks scrunched down. Also, the hardware on the zippers clinks when I walk in them and there are two zippers on each boot. Kind of cool if you like sounding like you're wearing spurs. They did run 1/2 size smaller for me (the size 8 fit when I usually wear size 8.5). Also, the right boot fit different than the left but not because of any foot size difference. One heel box was more cupped and stayed put while the other was more straight and allowed my heel to slide up and down. All in all I really wish I could keep this boot but for that price they need to be perfect.

I wanted to love them but am just not feeling it. They are clunky dress down boots that made my normal sized calves look bigger and stockier than I am used to. Couple inches higher on the calf and I would have the boot of all boots. Also the zips caught on jeans and the inside heel area rubbed in a way that will slowly irritate. Colour is beautiful, they are wonderfully made.

I was so excited to get this bootie after watching the awesome video. Sadly I was underwhelmed when I got it. They're just meh. And the shoes were crazy tight; I ordered a 9.5 as recommended. Sadly there are no more 10 left in the brown color.
