I suffer from plantar fasciitis and was looking for simple black boot that I can wear with jeans, cords, long skirts with leggings and even with dress casual slacks. These boots definitely meet those needs and provide me with excellent arch support. I also have a wide foot for a woman and I find the Stacey Bootie gives me plenty of room in the toe box. I purchased a size 10 rather than my normal 9.5 to be sure I had plenty of room. After getting them I could have safely gone with the 9.5, but I kept the 10 so I can wear a slightly heavier sock with them in cooler weather. The non-skids soles are also good for traction. A few things to keep in mind. These are not leather (I knew this buying them) and if you accidentally scuff the boot the mark will show. I have a half inch white "blemish" on the toe now to prove it. Also the outside zipper on each bootie is not functional (I knew this too), so if you're looking at these because of the 2 zippers, keep that in mind. Overall I'm glad I got these booties. They are more expensive than I'm used to paying for shoes, but the benefits of Orthaheels outweigh the cost. I'd love to see more styles from this company, with a more youthful contemporary edge.

VERY disappointed! I thought the two zippers were functional which is exactly what I need for a post-surgery hammertoe that is still tender and painful after 9 months. IF the information said that one zipper was for "style" I totally missed it. I could not get the boot on my left foot. How I wish one boot maker offered a rain/ snow boot that opens completely like an orthopedic "cast" boot and then zips or velcro to close around the foot. I thought I had found something almost as workable. Darn! Back they go.

I love these boots. I got a half size larger so I could wear a thicker sock, and my feet are happy. This is my second pair of this brand shoe and they are my favorite shoes.

I had toe surgery on my two big toes not too long ago...still tender. I love to walk...took the boots out of the box, put them on and instantly my feet were happy. No break in at all. This is my third pair of Orthaheel shoes. Great for flat feet and helps keep from pronating. My podiatrist likes them, as well.

Having foot problems, I have completely switched my footwear to Orthaheels but panicked when I planned a trip to Canada in the winter but fret not, these boots are going to work perfectly!

As a vegan I am use to plastic looking, stiff unsupported and uncomfy shoes-not always but some veagn products lookk cheap. This bootie looks ok and is cute and comfy. I am glad I got them for jeans and skirts wear.

I really like these shoes; they fit right out of the box without any wearing in period. I wear a 7.5 or 8 usually depending on the width and the 7.5 fit perfectly. They're true to fit and like other Orthaheel shoes have very good arch support but the soles are still flexible. They are not the most stylish shoe (my sister calls them my nun shoes) but they're plain black boots that are extremely comfortable and my feet feel good at the end of a long day at work or walking in the city.

I saw these on another site that recommended them for bunions...they were right! I have a bunion on one foot and finding a shoe that doesn't cause me pain has been a nightmare. I thought they were tight at first although they did not hurt my bunion. I wore them as instructed and they loosened up...the leather is very soft...and they became more comfortable. They looked good under pants too...who says comfortable shoes have to be ugly!

Compact and low profile. Comfortable, but not quite as much support as the genius Orthohelel flip flops. I would recommend. Some fashionable boots would be amazing.

I only wear Orthaheel so I have been waiting for boots that are more stylish. I bought last year's style and sent them back for quality. These boots are nice quality for man made and not leather. The arch support is amazing as always. I am young to be a support shoe wearer and am glad to see a few more styles to choose from. I just wish they did not all have to look boxy at the toe. The size and width was a perfect fit for me.

On the small side, for 7.5. Need to go up to 8. Like the height of boot since I have big calves hard to find tall boots.

I found it difficult to get on; however, I have a nasty back problem that doesn't let me bend to the full need. Once I did get them on I felt they were too short although it was the size I have ordered previously, in a different style, with which I was very pleased.

These are terrible. I put "Felt full size larger" but I could also have put "Felt half size smaller." First I ordered 7.5 which is what I generally wear. They felt more like an 8.5, even with thick socks. So I sent them back and ordered the 7. They are snug even with thin socks. However, I needed a pair of flat boots so I decided to see if they would stretch. Nope. Not only do they not give, but now I have some kind of horribly sore spot on my left toe presumably from rubbing against the shoe. I basically hate these shoes and will be giving them away as they're unwearable. My advice - don't buy these.

I loved the look and style of this short boot. It was exactly what I was looking for. It does run 1/2 size small, which I had read on previous reviews. I generally take a 6 in Orthaheel shoes, so I ordered a 6.5 just to be sure as well. Unfortunately, the fit was just not comfortable in the back of the heel. I tried walking around in them in the house on and off for several days, but this discomfort remained. It is too bad, as this was exactly what I was looking for. I'm disappointed that Orthaheel's usual comfort did not transfer to this boot.

These were too narrow for me. I am desperately looking for comfortable, reasonably stylish shoes (have plantar fasciitis and hard-to-fit feet). I had high hopes for these. They're cute, and seem fairly comfortable, but they were just too narrow.

Very cute boot but not as wide as other Orthoheel footwear. I bought these boots because the brand was recommended by my podiatrist who said this brand was good for people with heel pain and wide feet. The Gemma Mule Slipper was wide enough but these boots fit more like a Medium.

I will be retuning these shoes because they are just too ugly. Somehow they looked more like normal shoes in the pictures and video, but once I had them on my feet, I knew I would be returning them. They basically look like galoshes. The fake leather just looks like textured rubber, and there's a bulge at the toes reminiscent of Mickey Mouse. These would look ridiculous anytime other than trudging through rain or snow.

I absolutely loved hese boots from the moment I took them out of the box. My feet loved these boots, too - so comfortable, great arch support, all around adorably awesome. But after one week I learned the sole is just glued on and became unglued in two spots on one boot and one spot on the other. Also, when the leather scuffs there is light grey underneath rather than black. Between the glued soles and superficial dye job these boots quickly proved to have poor quality construction which was a real bummer because the footbed is fantastic. I think Orthaheel is a newer brand and if that is true I will give them a whirl in a couple of years.
