Great boots. Very high though if you have shorter legs. I couldn't sit down. Also very wide in calves.

These boots were smaller than expected. My calves are about 16" at the widest and I ordered a 9. They felt narrow in the shoes and the calf circumference is 16+" but only at the very top, not at the widest part of the calf on the leg. They are very conical in shape and thus, couldn't be zipped up. If someone with a normal width or slender calf wore these, I imagine they'd be too wide at the top and catch things like rain and snow. Perhaps store some snacks or something? Lame. I couldn't believe they were real leather. They looked like faux or brushed rubber or something.

I am very happy with these! However, you should know that these are BOOTS. They are high quality, a little on the heavy side, stiff enough to stand up on their own. They could be work boots, not just fashion boots. The ankles were a little stiff at purchase, but broke in quickly. I ordered my usual 7.5 and also an 8. I had a little trouble fitting my arch into the 7.5, so I kept the 8s. However, I think once they broke in it would have been ok, and wish I'd kept the 7.5 that fit the length of my foot better. The buckles at the top come undone easily, so I attached snaps to keep them from flapping around. My calves are 15-15.5 inches in jeans, and these boots fit that perfectly. There are subtle elastic inserts at the top so you could probably go some amount wider or narrower and they'd still fit.

I love my Clarks Orinocco boots! They fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. I expected the leather to be more shiny, but they are matted. Regardless, they are fantastic winter boots.

This is a very comfortable boot that seems to fit fairly true to size. It is chunky and casual, but doesn't look too huge and clunky to wear with a skirt or dress. I wore them all day at work. My feet were comfy and not too hot all day.

These boots look much better than pictured. The leather is substantial without being too stiff and has a matte finish. I ordered a half size larger than my normal size since Clark's are known for running small and I am very happy with the fit. Some have mentioned that the calf is too tight but I find that they fit my average legs well with winter leggings.

This boot is fantastic! Excellent fit, nice looking and good quality. I had to order 1/2 size larger because I have wide feet which worked out fine. I am extremely happy with this boot. I get many compliments. Sole is soft on my feet which is extremely important when you walk around in the all day. I will definitely buy more Clarks boots!

I received my boots quickly. They are beautiful! I love the color and the fit. I have large calves and these are tight, but I imagine that they will loosen up some as I wear them.

I love these boots and have gotten lots of compliments on them. I like the slightly lugged sole, and the leather is very nice. I'm breaking them in by wearing them all the time -- after a couple days, they are still a little stiff and uncomfortable in the ankles, but they're otherwise good. The calf opening is perfect for my 14" calves, and the height is perfect for my legs (I'm 5'7").

Probably one of the most comfortable boots I own. There was no need to break them in. They were comfy right out of the box. Love them and they look great too! Ordered them in my size of 9M...perfect!

Love these boots. I bought size 8.5 thinking they may be too tight and may have to return them, but they work fine. They do tend to mold to your foot. Very comfortable.

These boots are great. I read the reviews, and they were neither too wide or too narrow for my calves. My issue is that they hit the bottom of my knees and I'm not sure how I like that. I'm not particularly short either - 5'5" - I'm pretty average all the way around. In my opinion, they are cute and comfortable. The knee issue isn't big enough that I am for sure returning them, but if you are on the fence with these boots, I'd give them a try. Great boots for the price.

These boots are great! Clarks are great! Most of my shoes are Clarks, they are very comfy. I also am very happy with Zappos and their prices. I also bought Donald Pliner boots "Bara" at a great price! They are a great boot too.

I ordered these boots last week...got them the next day. The customer service was beyond excellent and I really enjoyed working with them! On to the boot! This is my second pair of Clark boots and I love them both. I had my Achilles replaced last year and it is difficult to find a boot that feels comfortable on my heel. I have to wear a size bigger than normal so I ordered a 10. They were a little big, but very comfortable. I decided to call and get a 9 1/2 just to be sure and customer service sent me a pair the next day, no charge, just to try them out. I ended up keeping the 10, wore them the next day to the mall and to work. About 8 hours on my feet and they felt wonderful! No rubbing, good support (I have high arches) and I got many compliments on them. I have bigger calves and they fit just fine, with a little room at the top. I think legs look skinnier with that feature! The color is kind of a gray/brown. They look good more gray when wearing gray, and more brown with brown. They look great with black too, as well as denim. Can't say enough good things about these boots! And the price at Zappos beats anything out there! Hope they come out with something in chocolate brown!

I would disagree with some of the reviews. The Leather is AWESOME if you know about leather. Its an oiled leather which makes it look "rough". The felt a bit tight at first but the stretched out a bit. The calf area is perfect for skinny jeans or leggings if you have regular sized calves. I LOVE these!!!!!!

I love these boots! They are extremely comfortable, right out of the box. The color is awesome - a lovely grey. And they look great with skirt and socks over the top. Super outdoor look. Some may not like that the top of the boot is wide (I am small and it is about 1" wider than my leg) but it still looks cool with colorful socks peeping out the top.

Oh how I wished these boots looked good on me! I ordered them in the black, and I love the matte leather. Alas, I can't pull off the tall boot look so I have to send them back.

I have been looking for the perfect riding/fashion boots for two years now. These are PERFECTION! I am a size 8/8.5 depending on the shoe, but opted to get an 8.5 knowing I have a wide foot and having run into issues with boots squeezing my feet in the past. I have been wearing these nonstop with skinny jeans, and they are so pretty I get compliments on them everywhere I go, but better yet, they are incredibly comfortable. I have been reaching for these more than my Uggs. I gave the style a 4 just because I have noticed that the buckle design along the top of the boot tends to smack together when I walk and make a little noise, and also one side seems to come loose every so often and I need to pull it tight again.

Really liked these but the shaft was so wide it made them look like rain boots. Otherwise they were very comfy.
