Why can't shoe companies make size 10.5? Seriously, what is up with that? The 10 was too small, even with thin socks, the 11 too large, even with thick socks. A 10.5 would have been perfect -- why doesn't this size exist? It makes no sense, especially given the increasing size of American women's feet and the range of widths offered in this model. Come on, Clarks and other companies!

FABULOUS! After reading all the fantastic reviews, I thought "all of these ladies cannot be wrong"! Well, these reviews were written by some VERY SMART LADIES who knew what they were talking about. So glad I purchased these adorable leather sneakers. Their comfort is second to none. No break-in time, just put them on and you can walk all day in total comfort. LIFE IS GOOD! Thank you to Clarks for keeping it real for real people, and to Zappos for carrying such a large supply of great shoes.

Great shoe!!! It tends to run very narrow. I have a very narrow foot but found the medium fit perfectly. I love the style and have gotten many compliments.

I love these shoes! Worth every cent. Looking for walking shoes for upcoming trip and these will do nicely. Love they are waterproof - great for hiking to sidewalks. I have custom orthotics and don't need to use them due to excellent arch and heel support. Great support in the achilles area. They are more form fitting than others I have tried. At first I thought they might be too tight but they have eased up in less than a day of walking. I also tend to be an over pronator and these have good stability. I ordered the red color which is more of a muted or burnt red but nice contrast with the black accent around toe and heel. I tried the Go Lite Lava Lite and Keen Toyah. The Go Lite did not have enough support and the tread was squishy feel when walking. The Keen was better support than Go Lite but I would need to use orthotics. Gusseted shoe tongue is nice it won't move around which adds to comfort.

This is more than I normally spend on shoes but I wanted a cute, comfortable wear-with-jeans kind of shoe (hate traditional sneakers). The Clarks Wave.Trek is just about perfect. Love the multi-tonal colors and all the details. I bought the Moss and it's such a pretty color - my monitor gives a pretty good representation. Very comfortable for all-day wear but unless I keep the laces a little bit on the loose side, my midstep gets a little tired by the end of the day. Overall, I think it was money well spent.

I love these shoes! The wide is not very wide, but enough extra width for me. They are definitely waterproof. I've walked thru wet grass and in the rain. Very comfy. I'm on my feet 14 hrs/day.

Love this shoe for travel. Light and rugged without being too casual looking. Under black pants still look OK to go out. Will change the laces to be all black so should pass as a little less casual

I too bought these shoes at a Clarks store in Seattle while on a trip. I was trekking all over the convention center and my feet were not liking the concrete floors. I luckily found the Clarks store and purchased this fabulous shoe. They are so comfortable and supportive, cute and also lightweight. I love them and will buy another pair.

These shoes are great for work. I'm on my feet all day and I'm excited about having a cute shoe with color. However the red is not red. It is more of a burnt orange color, and not the bright red that is on the description pictures.

This is my second pair of Clarks wave, Trek. They have walked 2 weeks in Mexico and 16 days in Dubrovnik/Croatia/Slovenia. I would say I like them. They have a broad toe base which really helps travel walking. They looked wet in a downpour but feet were dry. Wonderful!

I liked the shoe very much - stylish (sort of European looking), well-made. But although it was an AA, my usual width, it was too narrow. Never in my life have I worn a B but I want to exchange this pair for a B.

I wanted to like these. They look great and if I did not have a bunion, I think I would have kept them, that said, they felt tight on both feet. I have had great luck with Clarks so I was a bit shocked.

I have long skinny feet and have a horrible time finding walking shoes that fit. I hate to shop. I tried Zappos.com because I heard you could return items with free shipping. Love these shoes! They feel like pillows under my feet, yet have the much needed support. I will be buying a second pair. These are great walking shoes, especially if you have bad knees like me. They are just a little narrow, so I will be getting the wide for my 2nd pair.

I love these shoes! I have very wide feet and Clarks wide tends to run a bit more narrow than most other brand's wide shoes that I have tried. But for me they still work. I am a huge Clarks fan and have several different pairs of their more formal shoes for work because they are so comfortable even after standing all day. These are just as comfortable, if not more so. I have worn these to two amusement parks so far and did not think about my feet all day! The inside of the heel area is a slightly odd textured material. It is kind of grabby and I personally think it helps with heel slippage. Although, if it were really loose at the heel it would probably just wear away at your sock!

This is my second pair of these shoes. While not the most attractive, they are the most comfortable and supportive and because of this the looks kind of grow on you. I like the feel of something on my foot rather than the sloppy feel of a bedroom slipper and this shoe gives that feeling without beeing too constrictive and heavy.

I hate that these shoes didn't fit me - the arch support was non-existent and the shoe rubbed my foot from the side of the small to to the middle toe. I hate having to return them because they were well-made, looked beautiful and I had thought I had finally found the perfect athletic shoe for me. But I'll keep looking. Even the spare laces in a beautiful aqua were enticing. :(

These waterproof walking shoes are comfy straight out of the box. There was no break-in time whatsoever! I got them in gold and was concerned they would get dirty easily, but after a walk in the rain on a dirt road, they clean up easily. Great job, Clarks! Nice goin', Zappos!

I have very wide feet and it is very difficult to find comfortabe shoes. I stand for work and found these shoes did not do it for me. Have to take them off after 4 hours. Even with the wide it is stay tight on my left foot and I have been wearing for a couple of weeks. That said, these are what I put on to run around in. They look good and feel OK for several hours. Ladies with wide feet beware. Not a work shoe for us.

I was so reluctant to order these shoes - they just didn't have much "sex" appeal. But I needed something for cruise tours that would require a fair amount of walking. I am amazed at how much wear I have gotten out of these shoes. They are exceptionally comfortable, and most importantly, they give me great support when I am walking. Six weeks ago I fell while vacationing in the Caribbean (while wearing a cute pair of sandals). Since I broke my hip a total hip replacement was done back in the US. I've been wearing these shoes almost every day, and I marvel at how well I walk in them.

LOVE these shoes. I first bought the red/orange pair and loved them. I now also have the gray/lite blue and dark brown. I want to point out that I wore these shoes working outside in rain and mud in Mississippi, and they held up. Waterproof? YES! My feet were dry all day, everyday. Thank you Clarks. Thank you Zappos.

This is not a particularly stylish shoe, but it is very comfortable and supportive. I wanted a shoe to wear around the house for support and a shoe to run around doing errands, etc. But I didn't want a tennis or athletic type shoe. I used to wear Sketchers, but these Clark wave trek have much more support for my high arches, plus a good sole which also gives good support. The toe box is generous and roomy, my toes have plenty of room, with no toe rubbing or squeezing. I wear these shoes with a thin trouser sock, with bulkier socks you might need to go up 1/2 size. I normally wear a size 8 and these fit perfectly with the trouser socks.
