I was hoping this would work on my narrow foot since it is a tie. But it's unfortunately too wide. Dansko only makes a narrow width in very limited styles, and I was hoping this would work. Lightweight and typical Dansko comfort. But they are really clunky.

I bought these from my local birkenstock store because Zappos didn't have my size. I am a Dansko girl and these are exactly what I expect from a Dansko shoe. These are so stinkin cute and possess all the Dansko qualities like great arch support and overall fit and comfort. I have the blue pair which is a fantastic iridescent color and very unusual in the shoe world. I don't understand why other shoe people don't make more interesting colors like Dansko does. I wear a 39 in Dansko and these are very true to size. These are funky funky and a must have for any girl that likes to have feet that are different from everyone elses.

This shoe/boot is not for everyone. It is all the things everyone else is saying: a little clunky, a little masculine, and it has an odd blueish metallic sheen. It is also: unique. A modern version of those work boots linemen wear. For me, these boots work with pants, skirts, and shorts. The first pair I got had a small flaw in the top so I ordered another pair. The 2nd pair was more vintage steel gray and less metallic blue, which suited me better. Overall, a funky addition to me wardrobe. Maybe yours too!

I'm very happy with these boots. I bought the grey and love the blue sheen - it has a contemporary, rock and roll look and really looks great with blue jeans! The crepe sole is super comfortable although the arch feels a little higher than the regular clog sole.

Very happy with this boot. The footbed runs bigger than other dansko shoes. I usually wear a 41 but sized down. I work on a campus and walk long stretches to buildings. Love the sturdy feel of boot thru puddles and uneven sidewalks. Boot does have blue-ish hue, but I enjoy this aspect. I have wide feet and high arches so this is a great choice for me.

Really liked this shoe, but it seemed to run a full size larger than normal Danskos. Unfortunately, it doesn't come in a 35.

So torn about keeping these. They are definitely a weird color and the style is both cute and ugly, which is not a bad thing necessarily. I got the steel color and they are definitely a warm grey over a slate grey, but then there's this subtle metallic blue distressed sheen in spots -- easier to see in person than in the zoomed pictures. It's just odd. But I kind of like it. I see these with fall layered looks -- tweedy skirts and cable knit tights, a soft dress, tights and cardigan, jeans and sweaters, etc. They might be just too casual/clunky, but I do love the overall vibe and silhouette. Just need to see how I can realistically work them into my current wardrobe.

Because I needed to size up in another pair of Danksos, and because my usual size 39 was not available in the gray anyway, I ordered up a size. They are plenty roomy, but I think that will be better for winter wear with thick socks. Thick socks will be a requirement for me anyway to avoid any ankle rubbing, but I love the height of these. I have a similar pair that are several years old that come up higher on the calf. Those are much harder to get into and out of. These are also adorable!

This is my fourth pair of Dansko shoes. I love how comfortable they are and how it is easy to maintain them. This particular style is a little roomier than my previous pairs--all 37 EU size. I think I will have to get inserts for them. The fact that they are recommended by the American Podiatric Medical Association is a big plus for me. As far as the "metallic blue" vintage styling on it, I happen to like it. I do not know why other people find this shoe "masculine." I think it looks cute.

I love these shoes! My feet have deteriorated from years of abuse, tap, etc., so I cannot wear a lot of my cute shoes anymore without pain. However, I also cannot stand the look of most comfort shoes like Dansko. I am so glad that these showed up in my Zappos suggestions! The look is so unique and current, but they also have the quality and support of comfort shoes so my feet are happy. They look great with skinny jeans or a short skirt and tights and do not detract from trendier outfits. One reviewer mentioned a blue sheen they did not like, and it is true. The grey suede has an iridescent blue showing through in places. It is actually one of my favorite things about them, though! It makes them look very unique. I think they would be frumpy without the iridescence. I generally wear an 8½-9 and the 39 fits great.

These are beautiful boots and felt so comfortable. Unfortunately, when walking they make a booming echoing sound. Very unlike my other Danskos. Sorry that they must be returned because I love the look of them.

These are terrific shoes. They seemed a bit narrow when I got them so I returned them for a larger size. Now that I have worn them for a while the leather has stretched and I think my original size would have been ok, because they fit a wee bit large now.

Love the shoe, but it has all the cons (stiff sole) of Dansko. First off, what I like: The quirky style and the blue sheen. The solidity of the shoe--I have a bad ankle and appreciate the feeling that the shank will keep my foot from rolling. On the other hand, the stiffness of this shoe (and all Danskos) prevents it from becoming really comfortable. The excellent quality and European (I think) last feels great on my foot, but Danskos always feel clunky. And these look clunky, too. Another reviewer wrote that Danskos are frumpy, but I don't think they've been frumpy for several years now. Maybe they got a new designer, because I'd describe the new styles as quirky and edgy. And these are too, although you have to see them live to realize it.

Adorable--loved everything about them but the super-high arch. Ouch!! Totally unlike the gazillion other pairs of comfy Danskos in my closet. I am sooooo sad to return these.

I like this shoe very much, but it is an odd style and color. The slate blue sheen is definitely there, but it's one of the things I like -- and it looks good with jeans. The shoe is very clunky, and I (like another reviewer) am kind of torn about the clunkiness, which lends the shoe a kind of rustic elegance but also looks stiff. Extremely comfortable with great support, although the sole is extremely inflexible, so you feel like you're clunking along. Which is exactly what you're doing. But if you know Dansko, you know their soles are always inflexible. And you know that their styles vary from frumpy clogs to quirky masterpieces that you can fall in love with -- or at least I do. I wouldn't call this a masterpiece, but it's pretty close.

I'd have loved this shoe -- light, good height, great alternative for skirts or jeans -- except for the fact that the pair I got has a weird blue sheen. I guess this is part of the vintage styling. I wanted to be able to overlook it but couldn't. Not what I wanted or expected.

Ordered these online - I've worn Dansko clogs for years so I figured I was safe. WAY too narrow, too narrow to allow for any stretching out like I've done in the past. I do have kind of wide feet, but really, pretty narrow. Also, like other reviewers noted, they do have more of a blue tone than is noticeable online. I think its cool. It isn't too flashy and isn't all blue, they still look like grey shoes. Anyhow, I'm pretty bummed they don't fit. Nice everyday shoe. I think that Dansko's sizing has really changed since they were sold. I've tried the Sanita clogs and they're also too narrow and the quality just isn't the same. Boo hoo.

I am now at the age where I need to pay attention to my orthopedic health. No more cheap canvas kickers for me. I bought these shoes hoping that they would be a fairly stylish fall shoe that would be good for my grad student lifestyle and casual professional style, walking around my hill-y campus, going to class, teaching class. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get these shoes on my feet. I usually buy a 10W or a regular 11 and I assume that a 40 would be appropriate for a shoe that is generally reviewed as wide. That said, I am noting that the shoes are uncomfortable simply because I couldn't get them on my feet. These shoes are sturdy and a bit heavy with little insulation. They seems perfect for fall, but I'm not sure they'd be good for winter in snowy or icy climates. I would caution women with wide feet who tend to wear one or another size to opt for the bigger size.

Love, love, love the look of the shoe, however, the high arch support is too much for my foot. It felt like a ball into my arch. I do have foot problems, though, so my review will reflect that. Sorry it didn't work out.
