They dropped the heel in the Cumulus 14 and made the show narrower compared with past years' models so it feels like a completely different shoe. For those upgrading from the Cumulus 12 or 13, this will feel like a complete departure, shop for a different shoe

I have been using the Gel Cumulus series for years and loved them. This one does not live up to the earlier shoes. I wear a 4E and always loved how the shoe fit. This new one feels too narrow. I originally thought they shipped the wrong size. The heel feels funny as it is elevated and the new design gave me plantar fasciitis (a problem I had before I found the Gel Cumulus). I had to go back to my old pair. After a week the pain was gone right away. Now I have to find another shoe :( Please go back to the old design.

Been using ASICS cumulus for many years, every time they re launch the model it's different. Which it should not be, the core design should be the same allowing us the public to be able to find a pair runners easier. However... I used the cumulus 8 for many years and bought in bulk as I could put a new pair on and just race in them, then they changed to the 9-10 and so on and if struggle to find a good shoe since, last one giving me injury, I decided to take the plunge and try the new 14 and this feels like the shoe of old and for now is perfect, so should I buy in bulk to ensure trouble free running the future? Comfortable, wide enough, Mizunos too narrow, lots of cushion and can put a new pair on and run for trouble free miles seems they have come full circle.

Excellent shoe. Very comfortable all-purpose workout and walking athletic shoe. I can't comment on running performance, as I'm not a jogger/runner, but general athletic and walking performance is very good. Good styling too.

Great, lightweight, neutral shoe. Have been using them for years and even-though they are last years Nimbus they fit my price range!

I bought 4E width about three weeks ago mainly for jogging. I am very satisfaied with the shoes so far. They give me the desired cushioning and comfort.

Superb shoe, especially if you like to work out and have to wear an orthotic and like to have a little lift under the toe box area. The extra padding on the outside of the big toe area is a bonus, especially if you like to wear a snug running shoe, but don't want your toe to come through the fabric. Asics did a great job with this shoe!

My new Asics are great running shoes. This is my fourth pair of Asics and I can't imagine ever wearing a different running shoe.

I have had several pairs of Cumulus shoes over the years. They were good, but I like the lower heel design of these. These also were much better shaped for the outside of my 4E feet. They have lasted a very long time.
Brands I'd also recommend: New Balance 1080v2, Saucony Kinvara 3 (2E)

I have just ordered my second pair. My first pair is so good, I wanted to be certain to get another pair before the model may end. VERY ventilated and nicely durable. I got the 2x wide, and it is perfect for my 1x foot.

Great running shoe with great support. It's moderate weight and has good support everywhere. I like heel support in my running shoes and this has it.

Great shoe! I have a wide foot with a very low arch (flat foot) and this is a great fit for me. Ordered a half size larger due to the swelling of feet during a run, and this is a perfect fit.

I'm about 50 miles into this shoe and I have no complaints. I'm a neutral runner with a normal arch and these provide the support I need. I wouldn't recommend these for use on an unpaved surface or for much lateral movement. I did my homework on the type of runner I am, and am happy with this purchase.

I have been a long-time customer of New Balance and I wanted to try a new shoe. Asics has always been a brand that people seemed to like and trust, so I gave them a chance. I'm not disappointed. This is a very comfortable everyday shoe, even for a big and tall guy like me.

Another great shoe from Asics! If you liked the Cumulus 13, you will like the 14 as well. I find it a bit more firm in cushioning but also a bit more stable. Memory foam around the heel feels great and locks your foot in place. Fits very true to size. All around a great shoe!

I think this is a great shoe for a person who needs a Neutral shoe. I find the shoe very comfortable. There was a person on here who gave the shoe a terrible review. That person states that they have a very high arch. He or she should not be running in this shoe. I think that his/her review should be removed from this post for that reason.

I still like these. I just new-paired-it-up from the Cumulus 12 to these 14's. Comfortable, stable, great. I still think running shoes are ugly though. Nothing personal Asics. They're all pretty bad, but yours the least bad in my opinion.

Very comfortable shoe. I've been with the GEL-Cumulus line for years now and I have no desire to find a new shoe.

I believe in finding a shoe that fits well, then sticking with it by upgrading when new models come out. Asics Gel Cumulus fit me well and I have had several pair throughout the years. Comfortable, solid shoe.

Nice, light shoe, good looking. But a bit over-engineered for my needs. Specifically, there's a piece of plastic support in the padded section around the ankle that pokes me in said ankle. I had to return it.

These felt smaller than the 13, hopefully they will get better as they wear in. Running between 35 and 45 miles per week they seem to live up to the previous editions of the shoe. Just surprised at the difference in the fit. These shoes will not stop me from wearing Asics but will ensure I try them on in the store before taking them home.

Do not buy these shoes if you've previously run in (and enjoyed) Asics Nimbus! I have extremely wide feet (4E) and had run my way through (600+ miles) three pairs of Nimbus (11/12/13). I compared the Nimbus 14 and Cumulus 14 head-to-head and went with the Cumulus. Big mistake! I also over-supinate and these shoes are not holding up to that - from the get-go they've caused pain in my lower legs I've never experienced before, and recently they feel like cushioning toward the outside is just plain breaking down. Mesh in the front/outer of the toebox is ripping already at 250 miles. Just incredibly, incredibly disappointing since I've had such good experience with the Nimbus series. Not sure why Asics insists on continuing to 'tweak' their designs.
