I have high arches and bad knees, and these are shoes I can wear all day. I took out the provided insole and put in Powerstep ones and these are perfect. Order a 1/2 size larger than your reg shoe and you will have plenty of room. Not a fan of the bulky instep look, but it has it's purpose and I can overlook that. I've gone through several brands of shoes that are comfortable and these fit the bill!

I love the way the shoes fit but the mesh material on the Saucony shoes is way too fragile. The mesh tears easily and the look awful after just 1-week of wear.

I love these shoes! I have a high arch and am very picky with what I wear on my feet. These are really great! I have them in green and they are perfectly understated and comfortable all day long.

Brands I'd also recommend: I love saucony.

Having purchased this same style for 2 prior years, I was thrilled to see a new color scheme. Unfortunately, something has changed in the design. These do not feel as sturdy or as supportive as the shoes from the previous seasons. I've owned 4 pairs now, and these feel mushy under my gait. Even doing some basic weight training the in the gym, these shoes seem to allow my foot to slip more into a pronated position. Whereas, I'm used to great support.

If you are a runner, Saucony Echelon is an all-around great shoe. This is my third pair. They offer great support, especially in the arch.

If I didn't have insertable orthotics, I would have had to return these because there is practically no arch support. But with my inserts they are a fantastic pair of shoes. Good cushioning and base width for keeping balance on all terrains.

Order at least a 1/2 size larger. I ordered these and the ProGrid. The ProGrid fit perfectly but I could not even get my foot in the Echelon. They are very light and cushioned but they run very small.

Love the fit; however, would not buy again for the same reason as July 28 Anonymous...the lining of the mesh material wore away where my big toe is. The mesh stayed intact, but you can clearly see the hole of the lining. Sad for such an expensive shoe.

The shoe looks good, but due to my humongous feet they do not work for me. With other brands (Asics, New Balance, Nike), the toe bed is wide enough for my foot but on this Saucony it's very narrow. The whole shoe is tight on the foot but this could also be in part that I wear a size 12. Which brings me to the size...this shoe runs small. I would need to order a 13 if they made it just to casually wear this shoe.

A little tight in the toe box and the bulky arch on the medial side isn't very attractive.

I love the look and cushion of these shoes, but the part that is not mesh rubs on my toes. Last year's of this model fit perfectly.

I bought these online because they are the same style as my previous walking shoes. They were much smaller than the same size I had purchased before. I tried and tried to get them to break in...but they were unbearable every time. Thank you to Zappos for allowing me to return them.

I have worn the Saucony Echelon 2 for women for years and found it to be an excellent shoe for heel stability, balance and to correct for over pronating. The Echelon 3 meets none of these needs. It runs small and does not provide nearly the cushioning and support that its predecessor provided. This is a truly unsatisfactory shoe and I am returning it.

I took this shoe out of the box and did not put it on because of the high arch. They do not state this is for people with high aches. This shoe is not for me. Second Saucony shoe I've tried and both went back. Done with this company.

This is a horrible shoe. I underpronate a bit or have supination. I got this shoe so that I would not roll out when I walk and walk on the sides of my feet. This shoe causes me to roll out and walk directly on the sides of my feet in a severe way. It is so bad that I rolled my ankle when I was walking and caused a painful strain. I am in pain now!

I've worn the the ProGrid Echelon 1 and 2 for years. It's the only neutral running shoe with good arch support I can find. I've never like the heel of the 1 and 2, and was delighted that the redesigned Echelon 3 has a beveled heel. Unfortunately, nothing else about the 3 works for me. The medial side of the shoe is higher than the lateral side, so I feel like I'm sliding off the footbed when I walk. I wore them for 2 weeks before throwing them away, and it took another 2 weeks of wearing Dansko and Alegria before the Echelon-induced feet/knee aches went away.
