I found Brooch the Subject when I went to get a manicure for my wedding. I knew I wanted a subdued neutral color to keep all the focus on the rock, and though I was a little nervous that it would be too dark, it was perfect. It's a very elegant and on-trend color that I'm allowed to wear in work uniform so it's all sorts of wins.

Brands I'd also recommend: OPI "Don't Pretzel My Buttons"

Great neutral shade that is perfect for any time of year. I love Essie polishes. They are long lasting and have a great consistency.

This product was just as expected. Price was right and shipping was free. I couldn't find this color anywhere in stores and was excited to have found it on this website. 5 star rating!

I have never seen this brand of polish before but loved the color Brooch the Subject, and it goes on very nicely and stays as well as OPI that I normally use.

Nice, darker nude color. I was pleased with this color. I wanted a nude, but darker shade. This fit that.

I love Essie nail polish. I'm not sure why they chose to no longer sell to salons...they missed the boat. I can now get it from Zappos...imagine that! Thank you.

Essie is easy to apply to hands and small nail beds and short nails because the brush is small. One coat of Mademoiselle is perfect. Contradistinction: too much work for toes; OPI better for toes.

I love Essie nail polish, but "mucho dinero" was a neutral peach color that was unnervingly too similar to my own skin's undertones (I'm pretty pale). It would probably better suit someone with a darker skin color.

Why must I apply three coats?! Please make a higher quality polish. You are not charging low prices. Get help from the Jafra cosmetologist! I bought one from a neighbor and one coat is more than enough. Theirs is thick and your is watery. Sad.
