I got the red/gray shoes to walk in the rocky rivers around here and have ended up wearing them everywhere! I can't yet attest to their running comfort but they've been great for kicking around town and playing frisbee. One thing: I normally wear a 10.5 or 11 so I originally got the "44 (US Men's 11)" size. They were WAY too large. Two returns later, the "42 (US Men's 9)" size fit correctly. Either these run a little large or the size translation is off. Actually, I think it's a little of both.

Fun shoes...super comfortable. I am always on the lookout for minimalist shoes that can breathe, and these are far more comfortable than Crocs as they have a thin, no rise sole, so they are much more like barefoot. Lots of comments due to the bright colors (I have the blue/white/red, and also the red/gray). Tongue (which is removable) can take a little care to get straight and un-bunched when putting them on, but not a big issue. They are becoming my summer go-to shoes. Because of the euro sizing, and Vivo last, I had to try both the American 11 and 12 equivalents...went with the 11 (I usually wear 11-1/2 to 12 depending on the shoe).

It's amazing! Best fit me and the feeling is so good! And since my feet's width is somewhat larger than normal, I want to point since it suitable to me, it may be a bit of wide for normal guys.

I love these. The only complaint I have is that they don't come in half sizes. Even with that I still love 'em.

I had always wanted to try out the barefoot running experience, so I gave these a shot. Bottom line? They took a bit of time to get used to, but now I wouldn't wear anything else.

My VB Ultra Pures just took me camping and canoeing for a week in Utah. They kept the desert thorns off my soles, dried quickly, and didn't get sucked off in the muddy river bed. My only complaint is the quick wearing sole. The tread seems to wear very quickly. I've lots lots of tread in only a week of camping, including one short hike. I would buy again!

I got these shoes for kayaking, to use as water shoes. They definitely serve the purpose. They're lightweight and pretty comfortable. I have a narrow foot, and these shoes a little wide, so the laces are really pulled tightly together. Also, I wear an 11 Nike running shoe and I got a size 10 in these and they fit well. So buy a size smaller.

They are very light and offer good enough cushion on the sole. The width is little too great for my foot and the shoe does not offer enough synching to get it tight. I would go a size under what you think you wear as they seem to be a little larger than stated.

My husband has had these for four months and he has worn them nearly every day. He had some foot skin problems and these have helped immensely. At first the fact that the soles are so thin made his feet ache a bit. But after a few weeks (perhaps his feet were strengthened), he felt no pain in his feet at all. In terms of wear and tear, he's been wearing the shoes for four months and the sole is now getting on the thin side. It'd be nice if they'd last longer, but considering how thin the sole is to begin with and that he's been wearing them nearly every day, that they are still in fairly good condition after four months seems okay. He loves them and will probably buy a second pair when the first wears out.

Needed a shower shoe for my elderly father-in-law (91) with good grip to prevent falls. These shoes are working wonderfully and he likes to wear them. I would definitely buy them again as they have been a lifesaver!

These shoes are great. I am a RN and I'm on my feet for 12 plus hours a day in a busy ER. These shoes become one with your body. Like the other Vivo shoes, you can feel everything when you walk. They are also very flexible and have good aeration. I also like that you can clean the shoes quite easily without having to worry about drying time. If I could change one thing, it would be having 1/2 sizes. I bought a size 7, and a 7.5 would be perfect.

Favorite summer shoes of 2012! I took a whole size smaller since there is no inner lining. 43 was perfect for me. I'm 44 in most other Vivobarefoot, 10.5 US in Merrell barefoot, 43 in Vibram five fingers. These shoes took a few days to wear in and mold to my feet at the collar next to my ankle, but then they felt light and easy and were my favorite shoes ever! They are very "barefoot" and helped me strengthen my feet. Walking is great, running works well with Injinji toe socks to absorb moisture when feet start to sweat. Shoes get a little slippery inside if you work up a sweat without socks, but if you add light-weight socks you'll be fine. I like how they look too. A definite Crocs killer.

Shoes are very lightweight. Bought them for a mud run. Shoes performed well, but in deep mud tended to want to be pulled off. Recommend no socks if weather is warm. I was able to use a smaller size shoe since the width in the toe box is wider than most shoes.

So I'm out of shape and decided to get into running. I did a little research and /r/barefootrunning recommended these. Since then, it turns out I have no interest in running. However! These shoes are extremely comfortable and I really enjoy wearing them around just for walking. Better for outside physical stuff than my sandals and still lightweight and breathable for wearing while just messing around the house. Overall, I like them. Oh yeah! I wear wide shoes and these obviously don't come that way but they felt really good and fit me fine anyway. I suppose it's just because they're stretchy or flexible.
