First of all, these shoes look great. I love the way the leather upper feels on my foot. Not too loose, and not too tight. I walked about 5 miles in these after only owning them a week while I was in the city. No blisters or soreness at all. I was really surprised and expecting a "break-in" period. They were great right out of the box. My only critique would be that the footbed is a little too "smooth". I prefer a more texture, but I guess this is fairly common with "dress" shoes. I wear them with jeans and chinos. They dress up and down quite nicely.

Zappos was great with delivery but honestly these are the least comfortable shoes that I have ever bought. They rub my heals raw (and bleeding) even after multiple wearings, the soles are incredibly hard and make my feet sore after a short walk, and the inside is a smooth hard leather that rubs and bruises around the top and sides of my feet. I wish I had realized they were so bad before I wore them outside, and I would have returned them, this was money in the trash, do not buy.

I have been looking for nice Chukka boots for a while, waiting on the right pair and I have found them now. I like for my boots to have a little something extra to make them stand out, not that I am against classic shoes, but those are for weddings/interviews/funerals. These Chukkas have great contrast stitching, contrast lacing and a touch of red that really makes them stand out without being too much. (on the bark brown ones). These are highly recommended. They do feel half a size too small, which happened to be perfect for me because I have to buy size 13 since 12½ is not available most of the time (and 12 is a bit too small), so it worked out perfectly for me. They fit like a glove.

Husband loved his Christmas present! He wears an 8.5 or 9 and I. Got the 9s. They were a perfect and comfortable fit. Thought the soles would have been redder though. They are more an orangebrown.

These are great! This is the first Chukka I've worn and not needed a 'wearing-in' period. The first day I had them on for almost 16 hours with zero pain or rubbing. And, they look great. Definitely worth the purchase price!

Nice sharp lines. You can dress this shoe up or down. Great for cold weather climates where you have to deal with snow and rain in the winter time. I like the Nike Air construction.

Love these! I've gotten a lot of compliments to the looks, I have the camel color. They're very comfortable and high quality. Comfort is only 4 stars because the sole is a little thin so if you're walking on a rocky path you feel all of the individual rocks under your foot. That isn't what these are made for though so if you are looking for a very nice looking Chukka these have your name on it

Comfortable and stylish. About what I expected from Cole Haan. Heel rubber started peeling a little bit after a few wears, oh well. Otherwise this boot would get 5 stars. The suede is great! Reminds me of the boots Daniel Craig wore in Quantum of Solace.

Great style! Moderate comfort! (However, no pain = no gain.) The only downfall is that the shoes run a little small (half a size or so -- depending on the width of your feet).

Decent shoes but the swede just wasn't what I was looking for. I have a wide foot and the sizing would have been about right with a little bit of break in. I returned them because Bozeman, Montana just wasn't quite the right place for them but really a pretty nice boot for a city dweller.
