Out of the box, this is a fantastic shoe. I don't think I've ever tried on something that was as immediately comfortable. The RealFlex bottom is a great innovation, letting the shoe move with the natural movement of your feet, as opposed to the stiff rubber bottoms I'm accustomed to. I bought these solely for going to the gym (weight training, treadmill, elliptical) and they're perfect. All that said, I'm not sure how versatile they are. They don't feel like a shoe I'll do much running in. But for the purpose I bought them for they're ideal.

Nice sneakers, but feet tend to feel like they slip off to the outer side of shoe.

I bought the black/sun rock pair even though I wanted the mono/orange cast, but my daughters said everyone would just stare at my shoes! These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn in my life, and I am used to Allen Edmonds, John Lobb, and Doc Martens with the bouncing sole!! For the past 20 years my athletic shoe of choice has been Nike. Not anymore, sorry Mark Parker!! The support is incredible. They feel great whether I am just walking around the grocery store or running on the treadmill at 24/7 Fitness. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for a great shoe to wear both at the gym and on casual days. Thanks Reebok!

Great shoes. Very comfortable to work out, walk, or just hang out. But most of all they run narrow. If you have a narrow foot these are the ones for you.

I bought these for my 13 year old son. He had previously worn Nike Free trainers. These are a bit narrower than the Nikes and fit his somewhat flat and narrow foot better than the Nikes. My other son immediately nabbed the Frees. I think that these are not as durable as the Free's, but are a better fit for a narrow foot.

This was a very comfortable shoe but it does not breath well on the bottom. The bottoms of my feet would become very hot after 3-4 hours even if I were just standing to sitting.

I liked this shoe at first, but the heal just doesn't quite fit snug. I decided to try the New Balance Minimus shoes and they are much better for cross training.

This, by far, is the best shoe I have purchased in a long time. Immediate comfort from the time I put it on. The shoe has a perfect fit and you can actually walk, run or work out in these with a very natural gait. I have had knee surgery within the past 7 months and as I still have obvious soreness in my knee, I know immediately when I put a shoe on whether it will work for me. They are absolute wonderful.

These are hands down the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned! They breathe well and fit perfect, holding the heel firmly in place. I use these for running, P90X, Insanity, Crossfit as well as an everyday shoe, and I truly love them. While I do love them, there are just a few downsides: pebbles & small twigs, etc. do have tendency to get caught between the RealFlex soles; so while they feel great on trail runs, I've had to stop to clean them out on longer runs. Also, if you have a tendency to roll your ankles, as I do, that is something to consider as there is not a great outer sole support which can make lateral movements a bit scary. But these are not a cross-trainer so that's not really a knock on them. All things considered, while there is no perfect shoe this is as close as I have been able to find!

I love this shoe and am a big fan of Reeboks. It looks great, it flexes for supreme comfort and it has a heel cup to keep foot from rolling (main knock on the Nike Free that I have - these are superior shoes). I have to say though, I didn't like the insole that came with the shoe. The arch area is weird and feels like its bending and digs against my foot. I replaced the insole and they're perfect. Only other thing is they are sort of slippery but this is to be expected in a flexible shoe with minimal rubber and exposed eva foam on the sole to keep them light.

I love the sneaker. It wasn't as light as what the reviews gave. They are as well very stylish in regular clothes.

I have never worn a running or cross training shoe that has been as comfortable as this RealFlex Optimal. While the shoe tends to run on the narrow side (I am a top heavy man with wider feet), the material that makes up the sidewalls of the shoes is pleasantly stretchy. It gives enough to ensure comfort, but not enough that the shoe becomes unstable. My feet pleasantly stretch beyond the edges of the sole instead of being packed in like a few days extra clothing in a vacation suitcase. The sole is phenomenal, and gives great support and bounce. I marked the shoe as running a bit on the big side because I usually buy skate shoes (due to the aforementioned wide-feet issue) and they tend to run about a size smaller than advertised. Just fair warning in case any one else makes the jump from skate to trainer. The only major problem I have with the shoe is it is unstable for lateral movement. These are certainly not shoes you would want to take on the basketball court, or any other event involving doing anything but going forwards. Overall, I would highly recommend these from the emerging "barefoot" running shoe market.
