Look and fit were perfect. Tretorn was extremely comfortable also. Like everything about it. Best of all, with my narrow foot, they make narrow shoes. Perfect red and looks great.

The shoes looked great, but did not wear well at all. The sole began pulling away from the shoe at the heal after only 4 months of wear. I really like them but was very disappointed at this issue.

If you want a comfortable shoe for warm weather, this shoe is it. It's extremely comfortable and because of its design it offers something a bit unusual and attractive.

Very happy with this purchase. Great shoe, very comfortable and flexible. Does run a little big, had to return and get a 1/2 size smaller. Zappos was awesome as usual though and had a new size in the mail the next day.

Fit is true to size. Color is true to the picture online. Style is excellent and the shoe is relatively comfortable. Canvas gets dirty easily. I've gotten many compliments. A good buy!

It's a casual slip on with a little more visual appeal. It did feel narrow at first, but wear for a half day and it breaks in well. Not sure yet about durability because I've only owned them for a few days, but so far so good.

Got these for my trendy husband. They are a nice cross between a loafer and a canvas summer shoe. Looks nice with a skinny jean.

I have had these shoes for about three months now and I wear them all the time (literally six or seven days out of the week) and for slip ons, these are showing very little wear and tear. They are amazingly comfortable and keep my feet happy all day long, even in the winter. I have had issues where water seems to seep in through the bottom so I have to be careful not to wear them in inclement weather, but otherwise they are seriously a great pair of shoes! I love them!

I can't even begin to explain how great this shoe has been all summer. My girlfriend found these on a blog somewhere and had such a unique style I had to give them a go. From day one I was in love. They are the perfect summer shoe for me. In fact I beat mine up so bad I bought a second pair for when I need to look more presentable. And not to mention I always get compliments on them.

Extremely comfortable! Seems to be designed for women's feet - it is nice and snug around the arch and mid-foot, with plenty of toe room. Great traction and cushioning, too. Style is very European-chic. Great all-around shoe.

Brands I'd also recommend: Minnetonka Moccasin (and other Tretorn styles)

Good shoe for wet bricks/surfaces. I wear these babies for working in a kitchen & they're great (get inserts though). I detest the appearance of Crocs, these are much less hokey so I don't mind being seen in them. I live in a city with these nasty little red brick intersections that will knock you down if it is a tad wet outside, but stepping with these kicks, fears of bruised knees and booties has abated.

I get compliments on these all the time. However- don't expect to walk far in these, as they are not comfortable and offer zero support.

I normally wear an 8.5 or a 9, and in these, I was an 8.5. The 9 was simply far too long. That said, the 8.5 is quite tight around the center of the foot because the inner elastic is ultra-snappy. (See that elastic around the outside? It is really elastic, but there's another elastic around the inside of the shoe over the instep that's doing the real work of keeping your foot in place...and man, does it ever keep your foot parked in one spot.) To be honest, I'm hoping that the elastic releases its ridiculously tenacious grip over time, because right now, these are borderline uncomfortable. One other thing...if you're comparing these to the suede version of these shoes, and Zappos has your size in the suede version, get the suede. They are simply better-looking by a wide margin, and seem to be better-made as well (not that these seem poorly constructed). In my case, Zappos didn't have my size in the suede version.

I bought these for my boyfriend in a size 11, and he walked right out of them. We had to exchange them for a size 10, which did fit, but rubs a bit on his heel. Once he broke them in, they were fine and look great, but it was a shame we couldn't get the 10.5. Very stylish and versatile, though.

I like these a lot. However, I tend to like shoes (even boat-type) with laces, fake or not. I have another pair of Tretorns with nominal laces that I like the look of more. As anyone will tell you, the insole is great.

Brands I'd also recommend: Sperry

I have a pair of taupe colored sneaker-like boat shoes from LL Bean that have seen better days, so was looking for something similar (since they don't seem to sell that shoe anymore). I have an older pair of Sperrys which I really like, but find they offer not much support (and the laces constantly come untied). I figured I'd give the Tretorns a shot. These shoes look really cute, but, they are very narrow. And because of the high cut, were difficult to pull on. Once on, they still felt very narrow and pinchy, and stitching on the back rubbed uncomfortably on the heel. It was hard to tell on overall fit or support because of the narrowness, but they don't have the sneaker like support/bottom of the LL Beans. I saw some newer Sperrys in store and it looks like maybe they've beefed up their support. I may have to take another look at those again. As for these, they will be sent back. I did also order a similar look Tretorn boat shoe type sneaker, the Otto canvas. That shoe is of a more medium, typical width. So, not all Tretorns are constructed equally. I am still on the fence as to those, but they are also pretty cute and I wore them around the house last night, they felt comfortable and had a sole insert that massages the feet. I am not sure about the level of support for all day walking, but they are a good value so will probably elect to keep those. Bottom line, unless you have exceptionally narrow feet, these probably aren't for you. But maybe the Otto or a Sperry would work.

This shoe looks great but wow is it narrow. I thought I had normal feet until trying on this pair which is obviously meant for people with skinny feet. The style rocks though and it's too bad they don't make wider versions.

These shoes are fantastic looking. However, for nearly seventy dollars, I honestly expected them to last more than TWO WEEKS. I don't think I beat on them, I wore them maybe a total of 10 days before the soles started separating. I wasn't mountain climbing or running track, either. Mostly sitting at my desk or walking around on carpet/tile and the occasional paved road. Luckily, GorillaGlue puts them back together nicely, at the expense of some added bulk. That being said, they are quite an unusual style, and I get many compliments on them. They go great with shorts, and aren't horrifically ugly with some low/noshow socks either. The asymmetrical pattern is very unique. Also, which is a bonus, they are INCREDIBLY comfortable. I'd wear them all day long if I weren't worried they'd disintegrate.

Brands I'd also recommend: Toms, maybe. At least they last longer.

I bought these for my husband seven months ago. They're stylish and attractive but have begun falling apart with low to medium use. We've repaired them but we're left with a bad taste in our mouths about the workmanship of the shoe.

I wore these without socks, and they gave me - literally - the worst blisters I have ever had. My heels were dripping blood after walking 4 blocks. The sole is very thin, as well. These are good shoes if you don't plan to walk or stand for any period of time.

Loved these shoes, but the problem is the glue began to separate where the fabric connects to the sole on both shoes at the exact same spot within less than 30 days of owning them. Only wore them to work a few times and work place is a cube, so it's not like they were used for running. Zappos took care of the return beautifully and quickly.

I love the way these shoes look but like someone else said after only 4 months the sole began pulling away from the shoe (and I bought 2 pairs) and it happened on both! That is definitely a deal breaker for these shoes. I am extremely disappointed! And will never buy this brand again! What's the point of a great looking shoe if it will only last you 4 months -- on a different note, Zappos, you have excellent service!
