I needed a cross body bad for a trip to Europe. This bag was perfect. Several compartments and light weight. I am buying something similar now for my grandchildren.

I love this bag. It is very cute. The size is about right for me. The two front pockets are a fit for the iPhone and my camera. I wish that it has a small open pocket in the back so I could easily access things like lotion, tickets, notes, etc.

With all of the great features of the small Kipling bags -- zipper pockets, spaces designed for pens, smart phones, make-up, etc. -- this cross-body organizes everything you need and balances the weight. A perfect traveling companion!

This bag was perfect! Cute and practical. I bought this bag for a European trip. I wanted something big enough so that I did not need a carry-on bag, yet small enough to serve as a purse as we were sight seeing. It was large enough to fit my wallet, nook reader, a compact umbrella, sunglasses and other assorted small personal items. The flap with velcro latch was a great deterrent to pickpockets. We witnessed a couple incidents where women had their wallets stolen out of their purses but they had purses with only a zip top without a flap protecting the opening. The material is tough and repels water which was great in the London rain.

This is a well made bag. The long strap allows me to sling it across and I'm hands-free. The zippers are heavy-duty and it's water-proof! The color is deep blue and and the little gorilla matches. I'm very hard on bags and, so far, this one has held up which Kipling bags usually do.

Love this bag! I bought it in True Blue and the color is great, a real Navy Blue. I can fit everything in here I need including my iPad in a cover and the bag is not too heavy. I originally bought the Kipling as it is a lot lighter than leather and I carry a lot of "stuff" like most of us do. It is nice to have everything fit into one bag and still not kill my shoulder. It also never looks too big no matter how much I cram into it. Great organization too!

Great bag! Fabric looks good but is light weight. Recently took this on a business trip. Since I would be out all day I had to take my stuff. Much walking so I could extend the strap and use it cross body to save stress on my bad left shoulder. Flap means you don't have to zip and unzip every time.

Its a nice light weight roomy bag but I was hoping it wouldn't look Quite So casual, the material is canvas like, I was hoping it was made of a warmer little bit dressier material.

This bag has proven to be everything I set out to get in a bag. It holds my iPad, a hardback book, wallet, glasses, phone, appointment book and more, all easily accessible. Due to the lightness of the material, I don't feel like I'm lugging a heavy load. Bryan the thumb-sucking gorilla adds a little whimsy, too! I highly recommend it. After seeing it, my sister purchased it in navy.

I was looking for a bag for travel, that would hold an iPad and water bottle, along with guide books. Overall this is a good bag, but isn't perfect for my needs. It has space for the iPad, but not a separate section. I can squeeze my small water bottle in one of the front zip pockets. I've ended up using it around town a lot, where it works well for holding a paperback, sweater, thin tote bag, and other odds and ends. Wish it had an open back pocket for a map and guidebook. The fabric is utilitarian and wipes clean easily. The webbed cross body strap is useful, but not security-strength. In short, it's a useful purchase, but not exactly what I want in a city travel bag.

I ordered this bag and the LeSportSac deluxe everyday bag to compare for an upcoming trip. I really like this bag and would highly recommend it but I did return it because the LeSportSac deluxe everyday bag worked better for me -- it has more compartments, fits more, and the strap was more comfortable for me personally. I far prefer the look, fabric and zippers on this Kipling bag to the LeSportSac look, fabric and zippers. This Kipling bag just feels better to me and the zippers are super sturdy and open and close easily and relatively quietly. I wish this bag was a tiny bit bigger and had a zipper pocket on the back. Zipper on the back would be great. Personally, I'm not fond bags with flaps and velcro, though this flap wasn't too much of a hassle and there's really not that much velcro. Overall, this bag looks great and feels great (wish the strap was a little wider) and I definitely wanted it to work but the LeSportSac just beat it in terms of organization and space. I can definitely see myself re-buying this Kipling bag (or another one) at some point. It just wasn't perfect for what I need right now.
