I think these are really cute and generally comfortable. I wear a 2E and they are a little more snug width wise than I would like, but so far they are the only boots I have found that work with my wide foot and high instep. Even though I normally wear an 8.5 WW, I needed to order these in an 8 WW so the heel wouldn't slip. I think they run slightly larger length wise. But I think they are very stylish and the heel is super comfortable and easy to walk with--good for pants or dresses.

Love these boots. 2nd time to order inside sole is not correct, large wrinkle inside of shoe of foot. Must return again must give 3 star due to this.

I couldn't find my size shoes I wanted in stores so I ordered from Zappos, three pair! I love all except one pair that is too tight (had foot surgery) so I have to return and hopefully that process will be painless! I got my in about a week from ordering. Not disappointed in anything about Zappos so far. There are shoes I am interested in but my size wasn't available at the time, but they let me know as soon as they were available.

I have wide hard to fit feet. I ordered my regular size in wide but these shoes felt too long and not wide enough for my feet. They are made of a soft leather and looked better in person than on the website. The leather was so soft they would have likely stretched to fit my feet but the squared toe and style made my feet look huge. Okay my feet are huge but I don't care to accentuate their size!

I loved these boots. Out of the box they are very comfortable for nights out or the office. The leather is so soft and cushioning inside the shoe is very comfortable. My only complaint is that the leather is too soft and scratches easily. If you drive a 5spd car do not wear these while driving. The heel tore and had to send back unfortunately. Now with a new pair I never wear them while driving. I still love them!

I love these boots! Since receiving them, I've worn them 3-4 times a week. They look great and feel even better. As I get older, the most important thing to me is how comfortable a show is and these are very comfortable. Although comfort is my top priority, I'm still very interested in being stylish. These boots deliver on both counts.

So far so good, I received these shoes and they are very comfortable but necessary look like "comfort" shoes. In the past I have found Clarks to always be comfortable but to be right on the edge of being old ladyish. I think these are pretty stylish, also like that the buckle detail is not super shiny silver.

These boots are the singular most comfortable (and stylish) boots I have ever owned. I have had three foot surgeries and also have other major walking issues. I can actually be comfortable in boots! Who knew? These are high enough to be comfortable but so high on the calf that they are snug. The instep zip makes putting them on real easy. Walking is very comfortable for me.

These boots are very comfortable. I work on the third floor of my building and I am going up and down stairs all day and these boots were still comfortable at the end of the day.

I have just recently purchased my 2nd pair of Clark boots. I was so pleased with my 1st pair I decided I wanted a 2nd in a slightly different color and style. As soon as I opened the box I knew they were exactly what I wanted! I have ordered boots before from other places in the past and always sent them back as they did not look nice, were not comfortable or were not wide enough (even though I had ordered a wide!). I love these boots and after wearing them, ordered another pair in black. They are so soft! Sometimes ankle length boots cut into my shins. These do not. In addition, I have had trouble wearing any kind of heel because the ball of my foot can not take the pressure. With Clarks, my weight rests more on the heel and arch. I can wear these for long periods without a problem.

I LOVE these boots. I have another pair of Clarks ankle boots and these Leyden Crest are just as comfortable as those are! The leather is soft, they gently hug my foot. The size seems just right, maybe a tad large but I wear socks in the winter anyway. The style is perfect, and the buckle doesn't make my pant legs puff out. Very solid support in the sole and heel.

I ordered these, as well as the Cobb Hill: Shannon boot, based on the glowing reviews. Though I intended to keep both, provided they were comfortable, I'm sending these back. Many reviewers felt this boot had excellent arch support, but they must have received a different boot from me because these things have no support whatsoever. They're tight (forget about wearing warm socks with them), hard (if you like soft shoes, buy a larger size and hope orthotics help), and the material around the ankle will rub your skin raw through the paper thin trouser sock you are stuck wearing with them. I wore them around the house after receiving them and couldn't wait to shove them back into the box...they are torture for your feet and ankles. If you want a comfortable boot that has excellent support and is soft, go with the Cobb Hill; Shannon boot. Those are awesome boots, that both look good and feel good on your feet.

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They were a bit large so I sent them back for 1/2 size smaller, and they are perfect. Perfect with pants, leggings, jeans. I wish all of my shoes felt this good.

The leather on these boots is very soft, and the color is rich and pretty (I have the dark brown). The hardware is sturdy, and the heel not "cheap" looking. My only disappointment is the the ankle opening is quite a bit wider than my ankle, rather than "hugging" my leg; I think it makes the boots look a little funny when worn with skinny ankle pants.

Due to my funky shaped feet (high instep, extra wide feet and high arches), I have never been able to find shoes that I was really comfortable in. This is the first pair of shoes that felt comfortable the moment I stepped into them. Even though these boots are double the price I'm usually willing to spend on shoes, I'm going to be getting a second pair in black. Who knows when I'll be able to find another pair like it? I feel that sizes run a little large (I'm a 7.5 but often have to up to 8 or 8.5 for width). The 7.5 extra wide was loose on me. Will probably stick to 7 EW for the black. Great investment piece and works well both day and night. The dark brown is pretty much as pictured. I actually really like the shade. As others have noted, the leather around ankle area can get wrinkled pretty easily after many wears. I accidentally scuffed the top end of one foot and it seemed to have faded the part of the leather to a light brown. It's not super noticeable so it doesn't bother me too much. All in all, I'm pretty darn happy about this cute pair of boots.

These booties are great! I have worn them with all sorts of pants, and they look stylish with each. They are very comfortable - even being super pregnant I was able to walk a lot with these on. I actually like the fact that they do not hug the ankle as closely as some booties do and I have skinny ankles and muscular calves, so that look just doesn't work for me. All in all, I would recommend these!
