Hey fellow Vivo Barefoot lovers! Being one who has the previous (non waterproof) version of Vivobarefoot EVO (dark gray/light gray honeycomb) & a women's size 10, have to say I've been absolutely in love with the shoe to the point where I wore it out! I was super stoked when I saw this the new version here, that looked then to be EVO II L, waterproof - thought the Aubergine was pretty cool, & ordered women's size 10 (42). Thinking sizing was pretty straightforward, like it seemed to be with my previous EVO's which simply said 42 in the tongue of the shoe, I ordered the women's size 10 (42) from Zappos. I was so excited when they arrived but then fell into nearly more than bitter disappointment because - they were actually too big...specifically, too long. I didn't want it to be true, so kept walking around the living room in hopes it was just my imagination. It wasn't. To make sure, I compared the beautiful new women's Aubergine Vivobarefoot EVO II L 42's by placing the foot beads against my worn out, but still very loved EVO 42's. Sure enough, it appeared the new EVO II L's were noticeably longer. Since I did not want to give up on the shoe, called Zappos whose excellent customer service speedily & graciously offered an exchange for a 41, to see if that would fit me better & do the trick. The 41's arrived yesterday, and they were way too small, like a size 9 would be on my foot. So, unfortunately for me, this version of the Vivobarefoot EVO II L's women's size 10 /42 & size 41's did not work out at all. I did call Vivobarefoot - the company - & left a message for a callback with my questions about how they are doing their sizing now with the EVO II L's (women's size 10) and have not heard back to date, now several days later. Thank you Zappos, for your help, immediate responsiveness, and great customer service! I thought if I left this feedback, it might help the next customer, specifically female of size 10 feet interested in this particular model of Vivobarefoot shoe. I am not necessarily going to give up on the Vivobarefoots at all, but was very disappointed in this sizing issue difference & inconvenience/disappointment & extra time/money that this caused me, due to their inconsistency in the shoe (new mold?) / sizing. My conclusion: with this version of Vivobarefoot, it is probably best to be fitted in person vs. blind trust mail-order like I did, but since Zappos is so cool, better yet, be fitted in person for these Vivo's, and then order from Zappos! Thanks for everything Zappos.

I was very pleased with the shoes, they are very comfortable and extremely light. It did take some time to get used to but would definitely buy again.
