This dress is pretty thin and requires a slip. I usually run between an extra small and a small and the extra small is quite snug. Had I not removed the tag and thrown it away I would have returned it for a small. This is a cute dress. I just wish the material was more substantial. Thus, I think it is overpriced.

5'4 and 109 pounds and the xsmall fit. I wish it was a smidge tighter but it does fit. I'm dying for a maxi dress that actual fits my frame so I ordered two more in additional colors. Probably not a dress that should be priced this high -- the material isn't fancy and there is nothing special about the dress, but it's comfortable and fits well. It's a staple casual maxi.

I really like this dress. But there is a gap in the armhole in front. You can see it in the photo that zooms in on that area. That's really my only complaint, and because it's pretty inexpensive, I think I'll keep it. I got the eco black in medium. I'm 5'5" and about 150lbs with a flat-ish stomach. 34B. I carry most of my weight in my hips and thighs, and this dress skirts that area nicely. It hugs on the top and through the waist, which gives it a very sexy silhouette. Because of the fit, I would likely wear it with a sweater if I wore it to work. But out on a summer evening? Go for it. Also, because of the racerback, you can actually wear this with a bra (a racerback bra), which is essential for me.

Great fit and super comfy. Not the greatest quality, but its cute. It does shrink in the length quite a bit when you wash it. I am 5'5 145lbs with and athletic type body, and medium fit perfect.

I bought this dress in a different color last summer and liked it so much I bought it in navy. It's very light and soft, but also thin. Be careful if you're looking at a light color as it will be see through. I like the length, and that you can cut the hem if you want to shorten. It's a summer staple!

I have two of these, one in the blue and one in the grey. I like them both, but the cut is ever so slightly different on each, and I prefer the blue on me because it actually grazes the floor and the neckline is a little lower. I'm guessing it's just variability in each, but definitely plan to try them on to see if you get the effect you want. For my imperfect but not plus-sized hourglass figure the large skims my saddlebags nicely, so I'm pleased with them.

Im 5'3 and 110 lbs. this dress fit well overall. Comfortable and drapes nicely. The straps are the only part that are a bit loose. Washing the dress might do the trick and shrink it enough. Otherwise a minor alteration might be needed since its a cotton stretchy fabric prone to loosening more with wear. Love the back!

I got this dress in purple and loved it! It is a great color, and with nude underwear it was too revealing (however, it does show every curve so if you are sensitive about that - I would say look for a dress with thicker fabric). It looks awesome layered. However, by the second wash on delicate and laying flat to dry, a hole developed near a seam. Zappos was amazing, and sent out another the next day (and I returned the damaged one). To my frustration, the same dress (same color and same size) fit totally different. The arm holes were cut too big, and so they sort of bowed out and looked way to odd for me to keep. For this price, I would expect a consistent cut and better quality. Oh well, I returned this one and will search out other brands at department stores.

This dress lays perfectly on the body and is very flattering. It was true to size. If it were a non racer back style and a tiny bit higher cut on the bust, it would be absolutely perfect. I put white cardigan with it and it looked very nice.

This dress is a perfect fit for my body type (pear shaped) except that it's the arm area sticks out when I wear it as am full busted also. Other than that, perfect dress but had to return any way.

This is a really simple, comfortable, and casual maxi dress. The fabric feels a little cheap, but looks fine. The hem is raw, so for a short girl like me, it's really easy to shorten. I didn't even have to bring it to my tailor...just cut it evenly along the bottom.

I originally bought this dress in the navy color and adored it. I found the fit to be curve hugging and very flattering. It flares out a fit at just the right areas. The dress is not hemmed, and on my 5'3 frame, it was too long so I chose to get it shortened and hemmed (to prevent it from tearing or snagging at the bottom), and it is now one my of favorite pieces to wear anytime. It is very light, breathable, and extremely comfortable. Perfect for hot/warm days and works great layered with a jean jacket, blazer, or button down shirt/cardigan. Loved it so much I also purchased the eco black and olive color as well. However, I found a lack of consistency in size and weight of material. For some reason, the olive was thinner and looser around the top portion. With the olive dress, I definitely have to wear boy shorts underneath because it is a bit see through and also shows every tiny flaw. The darker colors work better for me, but I still wear all 3, and they are the first thing I reach for when I want to be comfortable and relaxed. Can be dressed up or down with the right jewels, shoes, belt, etc. I will be getting a lot of use out of these. Also holds up well in washer but will shrink a bit in dryer so you may want to lay it flat to dry.

This dress hangs a little low for me. Don't need every one to be seeing my bra. Zappos is great! Love them and their service!

I'm 5'8, between a US size 12-14 and got the true Eco black in an XL. It's more like a sun faded black than a true black. Also the dress is a little see-through. Length is still to the floor even after putting it in the dryer. Material is soft like an old t-shirt but not super thick so lumps and bumps may be more noticeable with a lighter color. Overall a nice comfy maxi that's good for backyard BBQs, the beach and the movies!

I bought two of these dresses to be my summer "house dress" that I could also wear to the store. They are very very casual. I'm 5'4, about size 6, and the small fit well, flattering my pear shape. After washing, it might shrink a little, but the hem rolls up quite a bit - by about 3 inches or so, because it's an unfinished hem. The quality of the fabric is so-so for the price, it pills a little bit. But these are exactly what I wanted for summer; they are super comfy, and flattering.

I love this dress. I'm 5'6" and around 130 pounds. Not athletic at all, I'm actually very soft everywhere. This dress is long, so I wore it with 4 inch sandals. The material is very lightweight and a bit sheer. I wore a long white tank under. It does show your tummy, so if you have a small pouch as I do, be aware. I would recommend this for sure.

Exactly as shown in dark blue. I am wearing mine for pajamas, and it's very comfortable and cute.

I'm usually a small (size 4/6) but I bought the medium to give me a little room in the hips. It was still snug fitting in the hips (which others may like), but very large in the bust. If you are large busted but have a small ribcage/abdomen, then this will work. It's an inexpensive dress and the material flimsy, not quite like a t-shirt. Length was good for me (5'4") but I'm returning since it's an off-fit for me.

I wanted to love this dress however the description says it is 63" long. The first dress I received was 56", the replacement that Zappos sent was 59". Zappos service is always excellent however it is just floor length with flats so I hope it doesn't shrink. I was specifically interested in the extra length since I can't stand when a maxi dress doesn't reach the ground

Paper thin material, almost see-trough. Felt cheap. Fit was unflattering. Ordered M and while top wasn't too bad, there was way to much material to the rest of it. I'm 5'7" and weigh 140 with more weight in my stomach to thigh region.

Extremely see through. Not at all what i expected base don reviews. Cheap material and incorrect length. im 5'7" and it barely hits my ankles

I liked the style and fit, but just be aware that the knit is very, very thin, not substantial, and the bottom of the dress is cut, not hemmed, so I returned it.
